What are the options for GPS navigation ? at the moment I can only get google maps which I find is next to useless for navigaion (ok for preparing trips) . I think I am going to have to stick my old retired navnan on to the windscreen
I put too much weight on the passenger’s seat today and the seat belt alert triggered. The fix is easy, I plugged in the passenger’s seat belt and left the weight on the seat. I do not know the trigger weight, but probably around 4-5 kilograms. It was my fridge platform when it was secured down, that triggered the alert.
Thread 'Identifying 4 Bare Wires under rear seat near sub'
Can anyone help me identify the 4 blocked off wires under my rear seat near where the sub is mounted. I thought maybe they were and air compressor hook-up as seen on another thread but the colors dont match and I have 4. Colors appear to be black, grey, purple, and yellow/red.
Thread 'Nolden Headlights'
So I was looking for a little more info on the headlights. They appear to be a different arrangement to any in Nolden's product range. Although, it looks like the very early prototypes were running aftermarket Noldens: Ineos should have a word with them about changing some of their catalogue photos...
Which dashcam to choose? - Front and rear? - Coupled? Experiences and recommendations welcome!
Does anybody know how the tyre pressure monitoring works in the Grenadier? As far as I know there are two systems on the market. the simple "passive" version which diagnoses the wheel rotations via the ABS sensors. Pro: cheap. Contra: not 100% exact measurements/ no warning when the pressure goes down in all four tyres the "active" pressure sensor in the valve cap. Pro: accurate! Contra: Price/extra technique built in/ additional efforts (time and money) when changing tyres. There have...
Hi all, my this topic has been discussed already but now with some real cars on the road I just want to know more about the features about the IG Pathfinder. Does anybody has a clear view on this? I saw that @emax had a thread on this topic as well. My main interest if one can upload any gpx, kml, kmz file and which maps are being used or what maps I can use - of course I do not intend on road navigation from A to B. For my motorcylce tours I am using a Garmin 276cx which requires two...
Am I stating that correctly? I saw on Ingenar’s video that there is an option for headlight leveling? Is that a dynamic thing for when installing them and getting them right, or for when you are towing or have a load that tilts the vehicle a bit? I don’t think I’ve had that as an option on my vehicles?
Anyone know where the -ve terminal/earth terminal is under the bonnet to allow charging of the battery. The +ve terminal is obvious (red with brass connection point) but where does the “black” battery charging cable go to?
Hi Is anyone else's handsfree calling a bit poor. Customers are struggling to hear me.
Hi there, my IG makes a "warning" sound, when it starts to move. Example: Waiting at a traffic light and when I start to move there is first this sound. Must be changable in the setting. Curious to hear any recommendations how to fix it. Thank you.
Within the ‘Off-road’ menu, you can check the state of the battery including percentage charged. Does this the percentage reflect the main engine battery, the leisure battery or across both? I seem to be losing approx 10% of charge over a week of not driving if the system is to be believed.
I’m pretty sure no one has mentioned this before. My electric mirrors did not work on collection (unnoticed) but did just once, a day later, then stopped. They failed for 31 days then worked on the morning of a trip to the agents to mention it (amongst other things). They worked AT the agents’ but not once since, despite daily testing. And yes, I’ve tried rocking and pushing the switches but I think this is software mediated not hardwired… Anyone else??
Hi all. Car is dead. Battery was at 50% 2 hours back. We now packed all together and car does not start. Is there an Ineos support hotline I can call on a Sunday? Thanks
Thread 'wireless phone charger'
Sometimes I am jealous of other people, and I think: I want that too. For instance somebody whom inherits 100 million dollars from a former army general of Khadafi. :ROFLMAO: I installed myself a cheap Chinese rear-view camera in my Suzuki Grand Vitara after my wife bought a new car with a rear view camera some 5 years ago, (she still doesn’t look at it). And one of my sons bought a hybrid Audi one year ago, with a wireless charger inside for his cell phone, waw, nice. Therefore, I was...
Where is the Info1 Display area located on the main display? I am trying to configure the display using the “Configure Info Areas” menu and there are three info areas: Info1, Info3 and Info4 - not sure what the story is with Info2. Info 3 and Info4 appear to be at the top of the display approximately 60% and 80% over to the right hand side (I’ve got a LHD vehicle). Info1 though has a lot more options to enable / disable including useful ones like: Average Fuel, Average Speed, Current Fuel...
Hi everyone, here's a video from John Canny about installing a UHF without cutting any holes in your precious IG 😉 View: https://youtu.be/Ads375d1F3s
Thread 'NATO socket jump start capability'
I remember from my times in military service that via a NATO socket basically every vehicle could jump start another. E.g. a Wolf (military G-wagon) could start a tank with drained batteries. So does the NATO socket in the Grenadier has the same function? Supply power to an other vehicle (or implement like a winch) AND receive power to be jump started. Sorry if the question was already answered. Have not found anything on this special topic neither in the forum nor in the manual. This is...
got in the vehicle earlier and had my first red warning light appear - eek… It was the battery warning light. I opened up the off-road mode and toggled to battery monitoring. it showed that the battery was at 50% charge and this was shown in an amber colour on the central display. I drove on regardless as I could see that the battery was charging and took a flyer that it wasn’t critical.. the red warning light stays on until the state of charge was in excess of 60%, and at that point it...
Interested in your thoughts as to why the reversing camera is not available in off-road mode. A couple of times now I have had to disengage off-road mode so I could view the camera. Do you think it’s a software issue that needs changing, or is there something I'm not considering?
