Thread 'Adding optional Roof Power aftermarket'
My IG does not have the roof plugs / switches from the factory, but I'd love to have them. How difficult to add this to a IG? I assume I can source the switch component from Ineous, is this correct? And the exterior roof outlets too? Is it worth having the dealer do it?
I just discovered while in Reverse if I pull down on the wiper stalk, the rear wiper and the front wiper will make one pass. That is a nice feature to help while backing up and no mention of it in the manual.
On My Diesel engine at 7500 km during a long journey I got an orange engine warning error. This had the imeadiate effect of disabling the cruise control. I contacted dealer who advised I could still drive but should have it checked. Losing cruise control is a normal safety feature to avoid engine damage. Before the appointment with the dealer the eror code went away, and I regained cruise control. To be safe I still had the dealer check things over. In the process got the rror code back...
Thread 'Roof bar on main beam help!'
Anyone who rewired the roof light bar to be controlled by the aux light button. I want the light bar to be linked to the high beam. The button keeps the option to turn it off.
Has anyone tried to hardwire a garage door opener to one of the available 10amp switches? I know there are two available..one by the driver feet and one by the passenger. I really want a hard wire button...not really a myq workaround. I don't want to ask Siri ..or press a button on car play.....just a real switch.
I've made good progress in identifying the specifications of the relays fitted to the Grenadier but in preparation for the next manual update I have a couple of questions that I hope the learned Forum members can help with. Currently I have determined that the relays fitted are made by Tyco but need a couple of clarifications as follows: Micro relay 614 is a 30 amp normal open relay, Currently I'm awaiting a pair of relay pliers as can't get a good enough grip to remove one. Can any one...
Wondering if anyone would be willing to test something and see if it’s a one off or if some vehicles show the same issue. I was driving and came to an accident. And got a bunch of light errors. Here’s my settings. I was hoping a few vehicles could try and see if it’s a repeatable error. Headlights in “Auto” Mode While in drive, any speed. Activate Hazard Lights Than turn Left or Right Signal light Than step on Break pedal. The error will continue until the vehicle goes through a full...
Wie schließe ich die Solarerweiterrung c tec 250 an das sie funktioniert (Lichtmaschiene etc. Geht nur Solar nicht) Welches Kabel zu welcher Batterie?
Thread 'ELECTRICAL CAR NOT STARTING (tracked to a 7.5 fuse F137 run crank)'
Today I am having the Wolf Box Mirror installed and figured we would install the RedArc Tow pro at the same time. As of right now everything is connected, but we are getting PDC , Airbag, abd a host of other problems. Please see below picture. As of right now, I can turn the key but car will not start at all. Any suggestions?
Thread 'Air Conditioning (AC) not working properly / loosing gas'
It seems @BAS-Remaps has had the issue a number of forum owners have mentioned of it not blowing nearly as cold as would have been expected; and others have mentioned a loose nut leading to a re-gas being required. He tracked it down to this:
Good afternoon. I am a new forum member / Ineos owner in Oregon. I received my mushroom Trialmaster a few weeks ago. Overall I am pleased with the Quality and the driving experience, but am quite disappointed with all of the items I have to turn off each time I start it. Does anyone know if or when there will be a permanent update so you can turn off the speed warnings, speed change, etc as a permanent user setting, and not each time you get in for a drive ? I do have it set to favorites...
Hello friends, Getting used to my IG, one of the things that bothers me is the proprietary infotainment and switch panels. I am thinking about a plug-and-play replacement solution with the following features: Phase 1 1. Use an industry-grade standard programming board (Arduino or others) to sum up all the inputs and control all outputs from the vehicle (software will be open-sourced so anyone can modify it) 2. Write open-source mobile apps for iOS and Android so anyone can control the...
Anyone figure out how to hook up the wireing for the tow hitch if it was not an installed option. I saw the wires and a plug in the right rear quarter panel so it just has to be figuring out the right ones. I am also thinking about just making a small battery box with switches and hook the trailer up to this..
Gone through the manual and searched the forum (Battery AND disconnect), and for the life of me I cannot seem to find details that outline the steps to fully disconnect the battery (and aux). The manual simply says : Disconnect the ground connections to the Battery Combiner. Remove the Negative (-) terminal on both the Start and Auxiliary Battery. Never allow contact between the Battery cables and the conductive metal parts, for example, your Grenadier body. Perform Service Work. No...
I am wiring up my new Stedi light bar and wanted to use the EXT5 spare wires RHS under the bonnet. Problem is I can't get 12v on those wires. Have switched on EXT5, car running etc. Checked fuse F113 (spare/dust blower) and it is ok. Any ideas chaps ?
Looking at wiring two 80W each ARB lights on the front bumper to either switch Ext 1(10amp) or Ext 8 (25amp). My question doing the Amp to Watts conversion is, are the switches connected to 12volt or 24volt? If 12v I think I would need to connect to Ext 8 to because I think the lights would need about 14 amps. Im assume 12v but wasnt sure and thought this would be the best source to find out. Also, looking at the Amp draw from an ARB dual compressor for under the hood. I think I would...
Hi Today my main screen , that shows audio , phone, and other information, went dark ! I even couldn’t connect my phone to the grenadier! Any faxed the same problem, appreciate the feedback. Thanks
Does anyone know why turning off the "Speed Change Info" buried in the ADAS system would make the front parking sensors extra sensitive? For context I added a factory bull bar on a NAS vehicle which caused the front parking sensors to go off. Just turning off the Front Park Distance Control, fixed the alarm but I was getting a weird clicking until the Speed Change Info was also turned off. I found that the Speed Change Info on its own would allow the car to operate without alarm...
My understanding was that when it’s raining and your windshield wipers are on that you’re required to have your headlights on. I thought most cars did this automatically? Almost thought they had to do it? It doesn’t seem like the headlights come on when the wipers are on with the grenadier, or are the daytime running lights Enough? I think those are always on anyways by default.
My Grenadier was one of the vehicles affected by the tow hitch install, I took delivery without the tow package few months ago. A few days ago I had the tow package installed at the closest dealer and assumed everything is good. Well, it looks like it is not. I tested the 7-pin connecter with a tester and the turn signals are not working correctly. It looks like I am seeing the same symptoms that triggered the recall in the first place. The video below shows one of the turn signals active...
