Is it not possible to replace the second battery with a lithium battery and use it as a supply battery? The second battery is charged via the alternator and disconnected from the starter battery by the Smartpas. Or am I seeing this wrong?
Thread 'Have you opened your NATO plug cap?'
Have you opened your cap? Any special way to do it? Mine won't budge. I don't know of a strap wrench would be of use due to the metal flange that wraps around the cap. Any ideas?
Can someone show me where the OBD port is located on my North America Grenadier and is it easy to access?
Heya all! I’ve got this great Pew Pew noise accompanied by zero warning lights or information! Anyone able to identify it? Happens some times when starting - not every time and not always the same number of Pews! Thanks!
Thread 'Diff Lock Lights'
Both locker lights stuck on and this on the warning screen. Anyone had this?
Thread 'Fuse Location'
Hi, Does anyone know which fuse in which fuse box is behind the roof panel switch no '6' In the picture below it is the power for three of the rooftop outlets totalling 25A.
When I got my vehicle, a two seater Trialmaster, I tried to adjust the sound balance from front to rear speakers. You could have bowled me over with a feather when I discovered that there are no rear speakers in the 2 seater. Pretty poor for a 100K vehicle. Anyway, onwards and upwards. Has anybody had the door card off their 2 seater and found any speaker wiring? I've just bought some speakers on a whim and a prayer that there is some existing wiring. Anybody?
I am picking up a new Fieldmaster in a couple of weeks. It has the auxiliary batter. I’m looking to add a fridge/freezer (Dometic CFX3) in the boot on a slider. Does anyone know if you can attach the unit to the aux battery or do you just use the cigarette lighter socket in the boot? Apologies if stupid question, I’m a novice at this stuff. Cheers.
Hello dear friends! This is the first problem I have with the car and therefore also my first post on this forum. I own the diesel trialmaster with an auxiliary battery. So three days ago I went for a drive to my local car wash. After starting the car I noticed I was not able to connect my iphone to carplay. I figured that I only had to delete the device (my iphone) from the infotainment and then delete the ineos from my iphone, which I did. However after this had been done, the...
Hi All. Has anyone found a supplier for additional switches & buttons? Yes, the Grenadier already have loads, but looking to add a few more. I could really do with having 3 way switches for changing various amber warning patterns on the roof top thru the aux switches plus change the intensity of working lights. Have considered alternatives, (iPhone control, gang panel switch box etc) but would prefer to keep to the original type switches. Thanks in advance
So when I am driving at 30mph+, phone sound is breaking up I suppose due to ambient noise. Only way to hear the call is to place the phone on mute. Very problematic. Any suggestions? TY
I don't have cruise control when my trailer hitch mounted bike rack is plugged in. Is that normal?
Does this EMP Shield really work? If it does, I might consider it, given that the Grenadier has a post-apocalyptic built-on-purpose vibe. ;)
Unfortunately, I still don't understand it and can't find it clearly in the articles: The SMARTPASS 120S disconnects the starter battery from the service battery when the engine is not running. When the PWR switch is switched on, is the power drawn from the socket in the load compartment from the service battery or from the starter battery? If the power comes from the service battery via PWR on, then it would be a two-battery system after all...? Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator...
Not being top notch when it comes to electronics. Can anyone advise me on ways to power my ARB compressor via either of the power outlets at the rear of the Grenadier ie The towing socket or the NATO socket. Currently, the unit has a pair of crocodile clips for connecting to the posts under the bonnet (hood). Was hoping for an alternative method.
Thread '50Ah LiFePo4 Battery Installed'
Hi, This is what I've worked on the past 3 days: I used the DS250SE to manage the LiFePo4 battery, and left the initial vehicle configuration intact (the two batteries managed only by the smartpass 120): This is the battery that I used: https://www.litime.com/products/litime-12v-50ah-lifepo4-lithium-ion-battery I manufactured two aluminum rectangle supports to clear the bottom chassis screws, 10-minute job using a rectangle aluminum profile and a drill. The black wire of the DS250SE has...
Hi all, I have done a search hear and remember seeing where the power lead us identified but can anyone definitely say which one is Ext1 vs Ext6 under the hood. I have found both as they are right next to each other, just wondering which is which. There is one flat along the fender line and another slightly inboard vertical. If I remember right the vertical one is the 25a but I can’t seem to find that verification. Thanks
No way to switch off "traffic announcements " continually interrupting radio at a higher volume not easy to "kill" unless you have a co pilot. Very very very annoying 😑 3 trips to dealer no joy, Ineos not interested either. It appears to be a software bug. Looks like I will have to make my thoughts known at the Royal Welsh or Game Fair. I know I should be able to sort via menu but that bit is not in my menu. Otherwise brilliant vehicle.
Does anyone know which FUSE is for the headlamps/daytime running lamps and where it is located? Fooling around with some additional lighting this weekend and can't seem to locate which fuse controls the exterior lights. Thanks for your help!
Thread 'Spelling Errors'
Anybody with the latest software 1946 still have screens with the wrong spelling?(Attitude instead of Altitude). Who proof reads these thing? I thought it was fixed.
