Hi all. First time caller, long time listener. Having rented one for a week and in need of a new truck with the demise of my L87-powered AT4X (that's another story), I'm now filling out the order form for a Grenny. Yay. I think I want the carpet. While I've seen some threads on this forum about it, I can't find a picture of it antwhere (and no dealer has a truck so equipped). Can someone (or a few people) post a picture or six of the carpet option in a truck? Thanks!
I was wondering if anybody else experienced early leaking transmission oil with their Grenadier? My transmission was leaking in two places after 7 months of use, with less than 10.000km and absolutely NO off-roading. The dealership replaced the complete axle assembly. It took a month to get the repairs done. No courtesy car, I have to pick it up myself. I am very disappointed in the quality of the Grenadier (it has multiple other problems) and of the service I am receiving from a...
Thread 'Pluff Mud Grenny 2.0 (Quartermaster)'
Picked her up this morning at Hendrick Ineos in Charleston....Lee and Team (Madeline) were outstanding as always. Will get some pics up soon....but will keep it on this thread...as she will be the new Pluffmud Grenny 2.0 LOL 2025 Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster Trialmaster, 22 miles on odometer, Scottish White. So far just little things to get her where my wagon was: - Installed overhead bin on switch panel from Grenadier USA - Installed oversize cupholder in console from Grenadier USA...
I was getting an annoying vibration noise from somewhere in the middle of the cab under moderate acceleration and could not for the life of me find it... long story short, I found it. In the center arm rest storage box, under the lid, there are two tabs hanging down to slip parking slip or tickets into. They seem to resonate with the engine at certain RPMs. Shoved some paper cards in there to take up the space and it's all gone now. Hope it helps someone .
Has anyone installed an Audison Forza/DSP amp on their own? If so, what did you set the Input sensitivity to? Anyone know how I can accurately measure? I've tried setting the ineos headunit to max volume and measuring with a voltmeter at the stock audio output and get 8.7v AC while playing audison's Sine 0db 1khz test tone. Is that what I use, or is there another method? When using the automated tool I get something ~ 11.7V, but i also have seen a youtube video say its ~5v. Any...
Thread 'Safari Window Storage Bag'
Picked up my Grenadier yesterday!! Super psyched. Loving it so far! 2 quick questions: 1). For MY26, they discontinued the storage bag for the safari windows. Are there any other options? I’ve been searching and can’t find anything. If not, where in the car do you safely store your windows when they’re out? 2). Every time I turn on the car, i get an error that my phone isn’t connected, although it is connected to carplay. Any ideas? Some pics:
I drove my Grenadier 5 days ago and the only difference was I connected a trailer for a couple of hours. I then disconnected the trailer and locked the vehicle as usual. Came to use it last night and nothing??? I strange loud “bong”: sound as I opened the doors and when I tuned the key it was totally dead. Only the small yellow warning triangle on the lower right side of the warning cluster. Any ideas as why a battery that is only two years old died. Nothing other than standard equipment...
Hey everyone, I just took a Grenny for a test drive to see if I should cancel my order for my 250 Prado. Loved the truck, but one thing I didn't check for was whether the drivers seat was height adjustable or not. I found myself having to duck down to see some road signs/traffic lights and hit my head getting out. I normally check for this in every car as I often struggle with headroom, but in the Grenny there is heaps, but would like to sit a bit lower so I was not ducking down to see...
I searched and could not find an answer for the MY25 specifically. I saw that a lot of people have the same issues with earlier years. From my testing, it looks like MY25 is also wireless Andoid Auto only. Called the dealer and they said it should work and if it doesn't they will try to restore the function through the software. For posterity sake, I tried every usb-c to c cable I have (15-20). Some of the ones I have are top-tier that support dual 4k display traffic. Also, I turned off...
Thread 'button plug'
Does anyone know the INEOS part number and/or where to source the button plug for the plastic shield beneath the front windshield (refer to attached photos)? The underside of the cap says "www.Skiffy.com". I was not able to access the website but researched that it is owned by Essentra Components.
Is anyone else getting the Fuel gong every 30-60seconds when below half fuel and driving either varied terrain or stop and go traffic. It's driving me crazy, sure the solution is to fill up, but what a dumb setup.
Thread 'Stereo Upgrade'
Picked up my 2024 from a shop doing the work. Did a compete system intergrated to the stock infotainment system. Wanted things to look factory, did not want to lose cargo space, wanted much better sound quality and imaging. This system: https://shop.car-u-audio.de/plug-and-play-soundsystem-v4m-fuer-ineos-grenadier-und-quartermaster.html was the rabbit hole maker. Nearly went that way, but wanted to keep the under front seat storage and wanted a bit more bass. Went with: Helix Compose i7...
https://gp-factor.com/products/ineos-grenadier-rock-slider-kit-2023-ineos-grenadier-station-wagons?selling_plan=3455942829&variant=46001683202221 What says the hive? Are we fans? Do you prefer a true platform for stepping on over a more traditional tube slider rail like these? Aesthetically, I think they nailed it, but the tube slider design doesn't work well for kids or women with heels or the elderly. I am torn, I love the look and the full rocker coverage, but I am not sure I can live...
Thread 'OEM Tow hitch install'
Hey all, pretty sure this is my first post. My 2024 Grenadier base came without a tow hitch from the factory, it's been a feature I've been wanting to add since I bought it, seems like the parts were not in stock for a very long time but I was finally able to get the whole kit: Part numbers aren't descriptive at all but this basically included: 1. Trailer Module 2. New rear bumper wiring harness(with PDC sensor wires) 3. Bracket to mount for the trailer module. 4. Hardware I followed...
Here in the U.S., House Republicans passed a bill on Wednesday that would allow nationwide year-round sales of E15, a blend of gasoline mixed with 15 percent ethanol, also known as Unleaded 88—a product that refiners and retailers normally cannot sell in around half the country during the summer months due to air pollution concerns. Will this crap be safe for our trucks? https://www.newsweek.com/republicans-vote-to-dilute-gas-as-prices-rise-above-4-50-11949494
Anyone have recommendations for the best front and rear light guards? Also does anyone make the turn signal guards for the grenadier without a snorkle?
I search (possibly poorly) and did not see an answer. Doing a drop in speaker install this weekend. If I were to disconnect the battery, upon reconnect will there be any dealer type codes that need clearing or will everything reinitiate? I see some discussion of the airbag light becoming persistent if you pull the battery? thanks, -Brad
Thread 'Touch up paint for rock sliders and skid plates'
Anyone have any opinions or wisdom on touch up paint on rock sliders and skid plates? Grok recommended bed liner on rock panels and Google says no bed liner (traps moisture)? That question and recommend to spare on vehicle or take off and spray? Gravel and some recreational impacts have done a number on my sliders and skids.
Thread 'Wheels losing connection with Grenadier'
All, bit of a strange one. My Field Master has lost connection with its wheels, so will not show tyre pressures or any other information in Off-Road mode. I have had a tyre fitter move wheels around and using the spare and intermittently the wheels lose connection and the connection remains lost. Using a wifi/bluetooth finder all 4 wheels are active and show the pressures, but the Grenadier loses connection and the connection remains lost. Anyone elese experienced this? also, the vehicle...
