General Oil Change Procedure & Specs

Did you ever install this? I bought a billet one but it would not fit... little to wide to line up threads. Looking for a billet one that works
Damn, no I haven't yet. Im coming up on my next oil change soon so was going to try then. Is it just too wide to fit in the space? Or are you saying it doesnt fit the filter housing at all?

A wobble extension bar is good too the only problem II have had is filling the oil as its rather high and with the cover off oil can spill into or onto the engine .One of these helps

The one I bought was too wide. It was not this brand but it was a billet one. Please let me know how that one works!

I purchased this filler, but none of the caps fit the Grenadier, even the BMW one. So either we have a different filler cap size and configuration than B58s in BMWs or INEOS changed it. If the one above fits snugly, would love to know.

The one you linked doesn't say it fits BMW on the product page.

UPDATE: Fumoto didn't fit my Grenadier -- size and thread pitch were perfect, but it won't seat to the pan without adding more of the washers due to the protective lip of the pan around the drain hole and Fumoto's open/close cylinder hitting the lip before seating. I wasn't going to add washers, will probably work but not going to be the test subject for that one.

Ordered a ValvoMax (M12-1.50 SKU 117-6670-2, UPC 8-65865-00043-1) that looks like it will definitely fit within the diameter of the drain hole lip.
