Oil Change Diesel Grenadier.

After some advice re engine oil change. I am thinking of carrying out an interim engine oil change on my diesel Grenadier. Ineos recommend a SAE 20w 30 fully synthetic lub oil. I have ten litres of Mobil 1 SAE 0w - 40. Am I right in thinking that this oil exceeds the specification recommended by Ineos. Does anyone think I should not use this oil. I believe in using the best engine oil in order to preserve engine life. Let me know your views.

The oil viscosity recommended is not 20W 30.

I use 5w40. It also exceeds the spec. It doesn't really get cold enough here to justify the '0'.
Manol make a 0w40 that does see the spec if you want to use that..
