In my car, the steel cable that secures the trailer hitch bolt is rusty. My trailer hitch is a combination of a ball hitch and a claw hitch with a push through bolt. Hi all, A difficult one.....best guess probably. I have 2230 clearance through the garage roller door. Given the height of the G is 2030, so 200mm max  will the vehicle fit with the roof rack (most probably) and perhaps the cyclone air cleaner (not sure).? The cyclone is growing on me...?. I may have to move house or renovate.....is that going too far?

Need some advice - was washing under the truck over the weekend. After cleaning up all the mud out of there I noticed a rather large exposed portion of the chassis. I’m guess in a rock chipped the powder coating. Obviously it needs some help, any suggestions?

YES, took a while to collect all material, but now I am the happy owner of (EU legal) rubber checkered fender plates ! These are made from 3mm EPDM rubber, suitable for outdoor and UV resistant. I used 3M VHB tape primer before applying the 5952 double sided adhesive tape for a better bonding and it seems to work. Anyway I have more material for an extra pair of fender plates if necessary. They look really good and certainly are as good as those (illegal) Alu plates. :):cool:

Like an idiot, I managed to wipe off my passenger side mirror. The unit itself looks fine although there is a lose tube inside. And there is a complicated stump that the mirror used to sit on. The owner's manual says this about mirrors [ ]. Nothing on Goggle that I could find. How do I go about getting a mirror for my Grenadier?

Hey there, I’m new to the forum and just picked up a Grenadier. The car doesn’t have the OEM ladder and I’m curious if somebody has one that they removed and want to sell. All the aftermarket options I’ve seen don’t have the curved section for the contour of the tire. I didn’t see a parts market/classifieds section of the forum.

It's Sela Green in color and has been chipped off by about 5mm in length and width. I'm thinking of buying some touch up paint.
