Thread 'Magcode Power System by Rosenberger'
Anyone familiar with this system? It looks a nice almost flush system for front outlets, especially off the flying tails in the footwells or even trickle charging main battery? MagCode® Rosenberger MagCode® PowerSystem and MagCode® PowerSystemPro ensure safe and reliable magnetic connection to 12V and 24V external power sources. This includes ‘cigarette lighter’ receptacles commonly found on many vehicles such as cars, trucks, vans and campers as well as motorcycles and boats. MagCode®...
Thread 'Spare Fuse - Air Compressor/Dust Gun F113 40 Amp'
Has anyone found where the outlet/connector/terminating wires for the F113 fuse is - be mighty handy. I see the fuse is in place so one would think there must be an outlet somewhere....? And then which switch if any powers this up?
With ignition “on” I have power to the USB plugs in the cubby box and the one in the middle of the rear foot room. When ignition is “out” I can switch the overhead power switch. However this online powers the rear usb plugs and not the ones in the cubby box. Does somebody else has this problem as well?
Does anyone know whether the NATO plug has been wired to the starter battery or if it's been wired to the Aux battery/120 SmartPass?
Thread 'MTA connector (jump start terminal)'
Discussed in various/many other threads, but maybe worthy of a thread all to itself. General location under the bonnet: If you press the two circled tabs, then the whole top hinges open - well to the extent it is able: I also thought mine was missing a bolt: but it appears the there isn't a hole in the actual bracket: That seems odd to me? Especially as when you view it from the rearside, there's a gap of several mm between the connector base and the support bracket:
So Ineos says that it is: So it is $700 for this and you have to get the battery also, for $900. Ouch. My Tahoe and Wrangler have outlets for free…. I don’t need it. I’m more interested in ‘future’ proofing the vehicle- don’t skimp on an option that can’t be added later or would be reallly expensive. I was passing on the battery, since that tech gets better and cheaper over time and easy to install. The outlets seem useful, but I’m not clear on how ‘retro-fixable‘ they are? Obviously...
Anyone know the dimensions of the Auxiliary Battery? I’m considering upgrading the factory auxiliary battery to a comparable 100Ah Lithium, but I think all the available lithium options might be a bit too tall to fit in the space under the rear seat. Be great to know the maximum height available in that space. Cheers.
Unfortunately, I know little about electronics. So, what comes with the auxiliary battery, and why would I want an auxiliary battery? Thanks in advance for your help.
Can any owners out there let me know how to re set the trip meter after filling up? Asking for an owner not on the forum 🙏
I have a new warning tone to report. It started on the way home this morning. Was travelling at about 75mph, everything normal and I get a sudden on set of a single tone. Not a bing or bing, just a monotone tone. It reduced in volume gradually over about 30 seconds, and then came back strong. have cycled the system on off and it’s still going after 15 minutes with the vehicle locked up.. anyone had the same issue and what was your fix…?
I try to check the Oil level today (Petrol Engine) Level 1 (street) OK, Level 2 (Offroad) not possible to display… Another permanent Software issue
Two viewing problems I seem to be having... 1. Ambient light level recognition. On daylight engine starts I get auto headlamps on and a dark illegible screen. It settles after less than a minute. Liveable with... BUT starting the engine in the dark (first time last night, as it's "summertime" - OK the headlights came on but the screen was so bright I had to turn off the whole display (LONG press on the Mute button). Fortunately I didn't need the map. 2. Screen viewing angle. I have...
Hi all has anyone lost. a TPMS sensor my OSR wheel has disappeared and it seems impossible to Reser pressures on the tire pressure page. Not sure if its the sensor or the vehicle .
Thread 'Battery switch what for?'
If this question is already answered in another thread, I'm sorry. But my search was unsuccessful. What does this switch exactly?
When I start my Grenadier from cold (well, summer cold which is circa 20 deg C), the coolalt temperature gauge gets up to 90degC after only 1.5 miles. Anyone else noticed that? - the gauge cannot be showing an accurate reading.

Hi All, Has anyone successfully turned passenger air bag off? In the manual it says to do it through the infotainment but can’t find it. Thank you,
So, i have been out bush with my trusty Disco 2 and was thinking about solar and air compressor points On my D2 i have front and rear Anderson plugs going tot eh second battery as I can then pump up tyres and recharge the battery from solar not having a really good look at the vehicle I have ordered (Trialmaster) any ideas from people who have one where best to mount and feed in the plugs?
Anyone able to recommend a decent multimeter for electrical work in Grenadier? Fluke 114 seems to come out with good reviews but open to suggestions. I’m currently working on getting a compressor installed and can’t see not needing one for this job and future fiddling.
