Didn’t want to ask this on the the Deutsch DTP thread since I suspect the answer is not Deutsch DTP related but does any one know what the recommended plug to join up to F113 circuit wires would be ? As far as I read and understand Deutsch DTP is good to 25A: https://www.deutschconnector.com/technical/deutsch_connector_selection_guide/ There is a mention of a DTHD standard perhaps something like the following...
Hi, 1. Just wondering is there any info on the alternator and its amps output?  2.  Aux battery AH? Is it lithium? Is it charged with a DC to DC charger? I'd imagine it's decent stuff, everything else on the car seems to be done right. Still would like to see the specs. Those details should be on the brochure! Thanks Sandy
will there be an option to upgrade the sound system? I love everything about the truck except the reportedly 4 speakers. I get it, it’s a utilitarian truck, but if we can get leather seat options, we should be able to option a better sound system in my opinion.
I have noticed my diesels heater really is not very warm, even after a long motorway drive with a trailer, the heater output on max is tepid to say the most. I’m in Scotland at the moment and it was -1 yesterday morning. On my drive to work about 3/4 miles, the heater remained cold the whole time, even though the temperature gauge was showing 90 degrees. Can anyone say if their heater vents are actually hot normally before I hit the dealer with this one please. I know new diesels take longer...
Hey guys! I was wondering if anybody else was having problems with their AC unit? I took my Grenadier to my dealer and they had fixed it, but it just went out again. I have less than 4000 miles on it and want to see if this is a usual problem or not. Thanks!
After a few days of taking delivery of my Grenadier we noticed that intermittently the air conditioner would not blow cold and in the rear it blew hot. This was only occurring occasionally, however, I wanted to have it looked at so I made a service appointment. They stated they could not replicate the problem but that they found a loose A/C hose which they replaced. Today the issue arose again. Has anyone had a similar issue and what did you finally do to resolve the issue.
Can someone explain how to access cabin air filter. I believe it’s under glovebox.
The heating system in my field master has been rubbish from day 1 Now covered 7000 miles. Car was delivered with a damaged water hose which was replaced by the selling dealer. However they could not get the heater to blow anything other than cold air into the footwells. Eventually went to another (service) dealer who did improve matters by bleeding the system However the whole system is rubbish for a £70k vehicle Ineos have admitted that the heating system is poor and suggest running in...
We have had our Grenadier Cab Chassis (canopy has been fabricated) for a few months now and are very happy with it, except for the Air Conditioning. When we start a journey it works nicely, but if we stop to fuel up or take a short break, when we start the vehicle again the A/C won't work. When it’s not working the rear vents are blowing very hot heater air (not outside air) and the front vents appear to be different temperatures (drivers side appears to be cooler than the passenger side)...
Thread 'Aircon - Outside temperature incorrect. Noisy aircon-fan too, just for fun.'
Hi all, hope you love your grenadier as much as I love mine 🤗 Still, it is not quite perfect 😲 - I know, who woulda thought it? Anyway, here's my issue. As you can see from the attached photo the outside temperature recorded by the Grenadier is usually well below the inside temperature. In this case the outside temperature was 25°C but the car registered only 19°C. The upshot of this is that when I run the Aircon on Auto (even set to 19°C, whihc is the lowest you can go before 'full blast')...
I've already read through MANY posts on the forum and other online groups (Facebook, Reddit, etc).....but I seem to be getting the A/C gremlin every now and then when I start up the vehicle too quickly (where it will just blow hot air regardless of what I do). The only thing to fix it is exit the vehicle, lock it, and wait about 10-15 minutes....then it will blow ice cold like nothing ever happened. My main question - is there an actual fix from the dealers, or is this just a software /...
Hi all, Summer weather has officially arrived in New England and this will be my first summer with the Grenadier. Yesterday was about 92°F (33°C). My HVAC fan has always whined a bit but in this heat when I engage the A/C (any level) there is a very loud sound coming from the engine bay. I turn off the A/C and it’s gone. I know we are all familiar with the noise compressors make when a normal vehicle is idling but this is anything but. It’s very loud and very obnoxious. So much so that I...
Fellow Texan here. Now that it’s hotter..I have been using the AC a lot more. I have noticed a few drops of water on both driver side and passenger side mats. The AC appears to be well eking great. After inspecting the condensation drain line.. it does not appear to be clogged… what’s odd is the drain line is gonongnout from under the heat shield. It does not seem to be directly hanging down like the majority of my prev vehicles. Would this be normal due to the heat and condensation?
I'd welcome some advice or input from those with more Grenadier experience please... I've owned my Grenadier for about 6 weeks now and for most of the time my HVAC system seems to produce chilled air pretty well. For most of the time however the weather has not been hot, although it has been warm. Usually with the external temp around 20 Celsius or less the HVAC produces lovely chilled air (which will produce the condensation feature on the outside of the windscreen). However last week when...
its a "balmly" 95 in the shade. The heat is working, all the time. does matter what the settings, AC, recirculating, even with only the blower motor there is the heat of a blast furnace. the only relief is to shut off all the vents
2023-2025 owners: Your thoughts on your hvac system.
It's inconvenient to have to turn a dial to find out what temperature I've set. Is there a way to display the set temperature on my HVAC system?
In January, with temperatures in the single digits, the blower stopped operating. No heat, no defrost, just lots of silence as we freeze in our beautiful Grenadier. Parked the vehicle, and jumpedinto the Jeep Wrangler we thankfully kept. Took the Grenadier to the dealership. The dealership insists they don't see problem on a warm sunny day.
As I mentioned in another thread, I have bought an HVAC system from a 2023 Grenadier. The reason I did this was to make videos about it...yes, really. Hopefully these videos will be helpful to someone, possibly even me. The first one is here: I'd like this to develop into a deatiled discussion about how the system works, so let me know what else you would like to see. Nick
Hey there. My Grenadier has a major issue when the wipers are on. The wipers skip badly nearly all the time. It reminds me of having an old car in very cold weather. Both wipers do it and the car is new. If I had to guess there is too much play in the wiper gears and/or the springs forcing the wipers to the windshield are too weak. Has anyone had this issue before? Is it just me? If you have had it, how was it fixed? Thanks.
