Is there any possibility to dim the warning light display?
Ok so have had the new software installed. Will be good to compare benefits and pitfalls with other users. So far the following is not fixed: 1.) Mapping and compass issues - CarPlay map still freezes, and the compass issues are still there until you drop below 30km/h 2.) Noticed the entire off-road page is now missing when you go into off-road mode. No indicators of wheel torque etc. Good: 1.) No warning transmission errors 2.) So far no warnings re seatbelts when people are not in the...
Hi, Just found clock in the infotainment system was set on manual mode. Now I set it to automatic mode and the system sets it wrong by 1hour. GMT is set right (GMT+1) and even if would be wrong I can’t change it. Daylight saving (Sommerzeit) is also turned on. So normally I should have the right time. Anybody else got the problem?
Went to use my car yesterday afternoon and the remote key fob would not unlock it (car had been standing in the garage for three days). Thought it was a bit odd. Changed the battery in the key fob - no difference, still would not unlock the car. Got the spare key (never used from new) - no difference. Had to leave the car and use another one to drive up to Liverpool for the football. This morning had some time to investigate and the main battery is dead - showing 3volts on multimeter...
Can anyone provide the location of the firewall access adding accessory wiring/antenna cable for radio installation? Thanks RJ Denver, Colorado
Thread 'Unused electrical connector (rear right)'
Have a rattling noise in the back of the car since some weeks. Therefore I dismounted my right rear trim this afternoon, to see if something behind it is loose. Had not done it before. Anyone knows what this connector is for? (unused, 1.7 volts fluctuating when contact off, and 2.0 volts, fluctuating when motor running): The only thing that was loose was the cable powering the Albright relay (for powering the NATO plug): You can notice the loose clip. there is hole where you can plug it...
Hi, Has someone any idea where the ECU is located In the Grenadier? Thanks,
I asked Ineos two questions, as there seemed to be some vagueness on this subject and received an interesting comment from them. If I read this correct ferry travel is only possible with the vehicle unlocked or on long journeys disconnect the battery, and you can't leave a dog in a locked vehicle. To IA Can you please advise, how do you lock the vehicle but cancel the motion alarm (for on board ferry crossings) Lock the vehicle but cancel the interior motion alarm (if the dog is left...
Thread 'Impossible to connect my Android phone to have AndroidAuto'
(sorry for my bad English 🙏) Hello everybody , I have my Grenadier for two weeks and and I've never been able to worked Android Auto ... At the beginning I tried with my official Ineos garage when I received my Grenadier. I thought it was my wire but I tried with a new one (official samsung) and it didn't work but with an iPhone it worked perfectly to have Apple Car Play. In this forum I read someone used a wireless adaptater and I bought one but it always doesn't work  This is my...
Thread 'Support Tablette GPS'
I have an order for a trailmaster. Does anyone know if the US version will have the light bar wired with the high beam? Ie I expect a switch overhead to allow it to be engaged but actually engaging it is done via a relay connected to the high beam? That's the way I would like it to work and I'm hoping that's how they wired it. I can't see any reason why you would want the light bar in without the high beam on as well.
Getting more and more used to the functions or missing functions of my Grenadier I wanted to park on a completely dark road. If my fading memory is correct, in germany you have to switch your parking lights on in a situation like this. It is a matter of road-safety. I tried this with the Grenadier, but when I switched of the Ignition there is no possibility to turn on the exterior lights. The coming home/leaving home function only lasts several seconds. If I try to set the indicators...
Can anyone who has the latest software update (****1946) confirm whether they have showing the small display showing wheel torque, diff locks, rpm etc. Hopefully I've explained this sufficiently you know what I'm talking about. Will try and take a picture on Saturday when using it off-road to explain further. Just querying as I like that further screen (currently on ...1941) which is activated when 'off-roade mode' is selected from the overhead panel. Find it really handy viewing...
So, as it’s Halloween I just need to check my IG isn’t haunted with you guys …. I drove to the shop this evening. Stopped the car and opened the door. I could hear a fan running fairly loudly. I close the door and put the key back into the ignition and restarted the car. No probs, started straight away. Turned it off again and could still hear the fan. Couldn’t wait for it to stop so walked into the shop. Got my few bits and returned to the car about 6 mins later ….. fan still running. Car...
My grenadier has 2 fuses installed in the seat heater spot but I dont have heated seats. Without dismantling the the under rear seat area to find out if there is wiring attached to the fuse holders does any one know If I can utilise these for for other things.
Can anyone explain which battery and which fuse box is the best to power auxillary outlets to power fridges etc. All the explanations so far about batteries, ctecks, alternator charging and the like is all a bit complicated and confusing and technical. It reminds me of my Defender days when it took a lot of searching to find out about things. I am sure this is all new to all of us and we are lucky we have some smart people among us to help out
I tried to pair my wife's iPhone as a second phone yesterday. Mine was logged in. Did not work!
Hello everybody, I have a HDD with my audio files connected to the USB-C port. On this HDD are many folders with mp3-files. I have the problem, that the files are not sorted alphabetically. Therefore I cannot see, whether all files in a certain folder are played. Is there a solution to sort and play the files in a alphabetically way? Thanks for your help and answers. Greetings Roland
