I've been thinking of getting a Wolfbox G900 and was wondering if it's possible to use the existing backup camera with the Wolfbox.
Thread 'Added a 12" sub to my "premium" sound'
As has been discussed, the premium sound option in the US is nothing more than a 6"x8" sub/amp combo mounted under the rear passenger seat. It's the weakest part of the audio system (to my ears) and I miss the thump of a real subwoofer. I enjoy doing my own installations and this was one was pretty easy since the premium sound already has the high level speaker wires going to the existing sub. Nobody is going to mistake this for anything resembling a professional installation, but I enjoy...
Thread 'Found another vendor for DUETSCH Plugs, they also have bigger kits'
So found this vendor who is selling Duetsch Plug both DT and DTM versions, they have large number of standard and specialty plugs plus larger kits. They also sell Automotive Epoxy for building connectors. https://racespeconline.com/collections/connector-kits
I have water in the RH side indicator. The left is fine. I don’t have the elevated air intake. Does anyone else have this issue ?
When I hold down the microphone button on the steering wheel I can see the visual indication on the touchscreen that Apple’s ‘Siri’ has begun to listen for a command, but I no longer hear the audible ‘ding’. Which setting on the touchscreen controls volume for CarPlay activation responses through the Grenadier’s audio system?
Alright, stupid question, but how do I adjust the bass? I’ve looked through the owners manual. I see the equalizer but not the bass. Specifically, the bass seems too high at most volumes, so I keep the volume lower than I’d like.
What is your opinion on this? Is it doable? I need the part numbers. I would just connect it straight to my battery I think. Let me know your thoughts…
Who has disassembled the middle console already. How do i get behind all the turning knobs? I have sand in it. They scratch when i turn them. How do i get them off for cleaning?
Rear LED lights and part of the centre console display, seem to stay on maybe 30 minutes after vehicle has been locked up. My Grenadier has only been used a couple of times in the past month. On arriving home I put it on a battery tender and now showing 88%. Won't stay at that if lights don't extinguish. Any thoughts?
Thread 'Trailer lights wired, Dual Battery wired with RedArc isolator, sub relocated'
Trailer lights added since I didn’t get them on mine, sub relocated, and RedArc dual battery kit installed. See pics. NATO plug installed and run to battery. It’s coming together!
Does anyone know if the truck is optioned with the High load auxilary switch panel,is the 500 amp Nato plug prewired to both the front and rear of the vehicle?
I plan on towing with my Quartermaster when it arrives. With Engine temp, gear box and diff temps, Is there an Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT) display anywhere? Surely there is a temp sensor in the exhaust with all the other sensors in this vehicle. EGT's are invaluable when towing, and want to know if I need to buy aftermarket. Cheers, Ken
Thread 'New CTEK D250SE Mounting Plate Kit'
Good Morning All, I am proud to release the first of our 12V solutions: CTEK D250SE Mounting Kit. If your Grenadier came with the factory dual battery system, then your vehicle is equipped with the CTEK Smartpass. The easiest way to integrate an MPPT Solar controller and improved charging capabilities into your existing system, is to use the CTEK D250SE DC/DC Dual Battery Charger. We have made a mounting plate and connectors that will make this integration seamless and easy for you! The...
I have managed to save a few FM Radio stations, but I can't find a way to change stations without going back to the radio audio menu. I can get the radio to search with a long press on the steering wheel audio controls, but a quick press will not change the station. What am I missing?
Thread 'Get rid of the turning wheel in the middle console'
I never use the turning wheel in the middle console. Do you? Is there no better use for the real estate it occupies? @Matt G. has shown us here how to take it out. Looks like it could be unplugged and removed. Would the infotainment system still work without it? Could be. A proper inductive charging phone cradle would be my first idea to put there. (A jack in the box is my second. Equally useful as the original turning wheel but would make for some funny moments in life. But that's just me)...
Any try the Scangauge III on a Grenny? I like it on my Sprinter. I don't know if the Gren and the gauge will communicate.
Today, while driving about 70 miles on highway and secondary roads, we heard about five chimes without anything illuminated on the panel in front of me. Any ideas?
We previously had a saved Favorite selection intended to turn off the ADAS over-speed feature. Today, when I press the Favorites button, nothing happens. I end up having to go through all of the settings to turn off the ADAS over-speed feature. Why is this?
Driving at night on forest roads, even at 10% brightness, is not ideal. Is there any way to completely switch off the main display?
Any thoughts / plans regarding auxiliary lighting, Currently have Lazer Lamps ST4s' on my Isuzu.....brilliant !
