I hope to have my new Grenadier within a month. Yesterday, I went to the dealer and took a test drive. The stereo really wasn’t that good in terms of audio quality and volume. I am thinking to upgrade to an aftermarket amp and a better speaker set up. Has anyone done this audio upgrade before and have you had any issues with the battery or other tech issues to watch out for? Thank you

I have a problem with my Grenadier. Well not me directly but the wife so ego me indirectly. We have a number of USB flash drives that I have loaded the wife's iTunes on, circa 1000 songs. They play in or other car. The songs are not in directories but in the root in iTunes ACC files pn Flash drives formatted in FAT32. Have a right hand drive Trialmaster Belfstaff diesel with latest software update. Started the wagon today and the left/main part of infotainment screen was blank. The right side shows usual info, gear, speed, fuel etc. After a minute, the right hand screen goes blank, I get a bong, whole screen re-starts with Grenadier logo, then right hand screen switches displaying info, left side tells me to keep eyes on the road, then left side goes blank, after a few minutes the right side goes blank...

Hi all, I am about to install a GPS tracker. 12V continuous and ground is no problem but the relay type tracker has also a signal input for engine running / (15) What is the best place in the space around the main fuse block under rear seat to acquire the signal Ignition / Engine running? After installing the 1946 software, the blue colored maintenance message (at the bottom of the screen, where ODO and Range are and where orange warnings usually appear) keeps flashing. Alright it's me I know. I tried to unpair the wife's phone from the Grenadier yesterday so I could try something on settings up my phone. For the life of me I couldn't find the menu option to unpair a phone. Where is it? I have a wireless dongle ( we are both on android) which is paired with the wife's phone. She prefers android Auto display, I just want hands free. But I can't pair mine with the dongle, I was going to unpaired hers while I set mine up. I can't find that option in the menu...

Does anyone know the state of EDRs in Canada/USA? e.g. legislation or requirements? Based on INEOS possibly being more agressive than required with ADAS features (several threads on this), I'm just wondering if they're also installing other data collection devices that owners may want to know about.

Can anyone tell me confidently if a UK specification Fieldmaster with heavy duty wiring loom (and winch) but no auxiliary battery or smart pass 120S has a smart alternator or not? I want to retrofit the CTEK Smartpass 120S with auxiliary battery but when I looked at one of the Test Grenadiers in the Grange Edinburgh showroom, the Smartpass 120S smart alternator lead was not connected ? either the test mules have standard alternators or the Smartpass lead is not connected for another reason?

I have installed (more of a ‘placement‘ really) a Midland MXT275 GMRS (UHF) 15 watt Radio in the center cubby, where it is plugged in to the car’s cigarette lighter style power point. The very thin antenna cable is tucked up along the right side of the enter console, under the dash, past the weatherstripping of the door, and then alongside the Raised Air Intake up to its tiny 2.1 dBi antenna that sits atop a Sirio rain gutter mount.rain gutter mount.

Hi, If I have activated Carplay (IPhone 11) everything works, including the hands-free phone, etc. But the home screen shows like in the picture (no phone connected). So I can't see or select phone favorites. If I go to Settings at FAVORITES at the bottom of the display and connect to my smartphone, Carplay will be deactivated! Does anyone here have an explanation/solution to this?! Thx for Help

Just watched Robert Peppers' informative video and noticed INEOS have addressed one item that I thought could have been done much better. Below is a picture of my HEVAC controls, and the script is smaller than I would prefer. I already mentioned it to my agent. Notice the Trialmaster Robert had on demo had much bolder script on these controls than mine. I imagine all the new deliveries now have the improved panel. My VIN is 1070. Below is mine:

Just returned home cursing the Disco 4 auto screen wipe system and wondering if anyone has ideas/thought/knowledge of the IG screen wipe system. D3's were useable. early D4's acceptable but the 2016 version detection system is so hit-and-miss as to be totally frustrating.
