Thread 'USB ports'
Just put two USB ports in the Greny either side of the gearbox tunnel, wired in front and back dash cam and front fog lights
Thread 'Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS)'
So the Grenadier is fitted with one of these located on the earth terminal of the starter battery:
How can you adjust the volume of the parksensors? It is annoyingly loud
There is a tremendous amount of information posted by some very knowledgeable people on here. I have a Trialmaster, which as we know is fitted with a CTEK SMARTPASS 120S. There are threads discussing the fitment of a D250SE, with detailed explanations on how to fit it. My question is why would I need a D250SE if I am not going to add a solar panel? My expectation is that the Smartness is designed to manage both batteries. Therefore, in my circumstance why spend £300 on fitting one, unless...
Maybe INEOS should watch this and take note. View: https://youtube.com/shorts/oMFg98Im0ug?si=VpyJ-Qj_gjBF2oQe
So in less than 24 hours we have had the panic alarm go off twice The first time my wife swears she just slid the keys across the kitchen bench. The second time it was in my pocket but wasn’t really doing anything. Is this common or is this another glitch. I also had the theft alarm go off when I stood on the towbar to climb the ladder with the car locked. I didn’t realise it had a motion alarm. Can this be disabled?
Merci d'avance.
Good evening, let's talk about satellite navigator for road use: to date I've never been interested in it on the IG but it's something I use from time to time and I'd like to understand how it works. Is the pathfinfer only for offroad use or is it good on the road too? What do you use for road use? Thank you
Apologies for the daft question, but as I don’t own a test meter, can anyone tell me what the polarity is on the auxiliary Deutsch sockets? I’ve a couple of amber lights that need permanently connecting for use on a couple of construction sites. A simple “as you look at the socket” orientation will suffice! Cheers 👍🏻
Is there anyone in the UK South West region (Bath preferably) who can supply and fit an auxiliary battery set up with the ability to charge from solar as well as from the vehicle’s own system? I use a Bluetti power station for 240v AC requirements, but would prefer to leave it at home when not in use. An auxiliary battery set up would suit my recreational needs as well as save space. I am not an electrician.
Thread 'Adding power outlets'
First mock up, the back needs to drop to sit under the volume knobs etc, and the front will need to drop and make more of an angle to allow room for electrical connections. But I think the concept will work. Will do a trial 3D print once I have the angles and heights right.
Help, please. Amongst several faults I’m told will be cured at the next software update, my ‘seatbelt undone’ alarm is firing off. I cannot ignore that one. Dr. John
Sorry if this has already been discussed. Does anyone know if the screen which shows remaining fuel range (which can be changed by pressing the button on the end of the indicator stalk) can be set so it does not default back to remaining range after a few seconds? I have tried various combinations of long presses and pressing other buttons but it always defaults. I would like it if there was a way to keep this screen as trip miles.
Anyone used their toot button at a cyclist yet?
Does anyone know if the TOOT sound adjustable, either the volume, the number of beeps per press or the actual type of sound. If so, how are the adjustments made (e.g. in which setting?) cheers
Thread 'What is RCP?'
Some days ago I was driving with my infotainment in off road mode and on the temperature setting screen and I got the next message: "Set RCP" Anyone knows what this means? (Ineos, I hate abbreviations :devilish:  )
The side indicator mount fixed to the raised air intake was loose and half hanging out after my first 500km drive. Pushed it back in but the lugs are pretty crappy and not sure how long it’ll be before it’ll need duct tape eventually. I presume that’s the temporary 3-d printed version until there’s a proper one from ineos ? Hopefully it’s not the final one. Taking it to agents this week to have a passenger door lock adjusted this week as the door needs much harder slam than the other doors...
Hey, Could anyone help me locate the roof outlet fuses? One circuit has gone and for the life of me I cannot locate which fuse it is. Thank you.
