INEOS AIR FILTER PART NUMBERS (also Air Cabin filter)

I tried replacing the cabin air filter with a Mann CUK 25001 and it is way off in size. That means all of the other interchange part numbers are also wrong including the WIX Part Number 24255. It took some searching but I did find the OEM filter manufacturer and part number. It's a EuroGielle Sivento P448 (https://www.eurogielle.it/en/catalogue/7135/). Now if only we can find something the same size. 219mm x 212mm x 25mm.

I searched by dimensions in the WIX website, and this part matches exactly except for 1mm difference in width. Has it been mentioned before, or should I buy one and be the guinea pig?

That should fit. I just ordered one on amazon and will give it a try on Sunday. If it is true size then we should be good. Thank you for finding this. I don't recall seeing that part number before and a forum search for Wix 49082 comes back empty. Well done!

Are you sure the arrow points towards the interior? My dealer had installed it with the arrow pointed towards the engine.
LeeroyJ haven’t seen the manual (#&h&!!) so all I can tell you is the orientation of mine as it came direct from the factory which was pointed towards the rear or as Commodore says, towards the glove box.

No luck. I actually measured the factory filter and it physically measures 212mm x 198mm x 25mm. the WIX 549082 does not fit because it is 212x219x25. Back to the drawing board.

I just installed the Fram CF10729 which measured 216x195x25mm but part of that long dimension is some foam. It fit tight but without any real fuss. It seems like it will do the job fine and at $13 I can change them after every few dusty off road trips.

It also means that anything on this cross-reference filters should fit but I haven't tried them

BACKGROUND
The Table lists possible third-party suppliers of air filters for the INEOS Grenadier B57 Diesel Motor (the air filter is also used on the B58 NEEDS CONFRIMATION).

When in doubt use the INEOS air filter. The INEOS filter is 68mm thick. The 68mm includes the rubber/silicone seal on the top of the filter. Some other BMW air filters are the same shape but a different thickness.

AIR FILTER (ENGINE BAY)
BRANDPART NO:MADE IN/COMMENT
INEOSGRA-3B02-008230
OEM EI-0000008230
Air filter made in Romania, by Mahle. Images here thanks to @Tinki
aFe POWER31-10296@Itsdchz confirms the filter fits here. Filter described here.
K&N FILTERSThere has been issues with K&N filter being used on BMW motors, for example here. Therefore, I will not list a K&N filter part number.
MAHLELX3985/1Thanks to @ninetubes here. Air filter made in Romania.
RYCODo not buy it. Not compatible with the Grenadier. See review below. Made in Bulgaria.
WESFILWA5440Do not buy it. The air filter is only 58mm thick, whereas the OEM filter is 68mm thick. I can only go on website descriptions say, and they are saying 58mm.
WIXWA10422

CABIN AIR FILTER
  1. INEOS Part Number: GRA-2G00-030270;
  2. RYCO Part Number: RCA451M. The dimensions are very close to the INEOS cabin air filter. Being a shade thicker it is a tight fit and harder to fit than the OEM, but it fits.

Just spent quite a bit of time at different parts supply trying to get the Engine Air Filter.
First went to NAPA as I generally trust them and like working with them - got part number 200422 as this is what they list for the Ineos. Turns out dimensions are not quite right.
So I thought I would trust this great forum and get the WIX one listed in this table. Went to O'Reilly to get WA10422. Should have been a clue that the last digits are same as NAPA Gold -- WIX listed also does not work.

So the table for WIX seems not correct. @TheDocAUS

Sat with the NAPA guy and the original filter and Success!!

The proper NAPA Gold filter which looks exact good quality as the MAHLE Original is Napa Gold 201035
From the discussions with NAPA, this will hopefully help update the system for this vehicle - which seems all the systems are wrong. Seems they made a general assumption just because it is same BMW motor for other vehicles.

So just to be clear (Napa Gold 201035) this is an oil filter??

Napa Gold 201035 Is $93 online, really surprised since the original Mahle is $35 from Bimmerworld.

Agree that doesn't make much sense. It's not what I paid but it is more expensive than Mahle. Could be because it is still listed as a specialty item ?
