Certainly a valid concern! One thing to note, that side of the compressor inlet takes in blowby oil from the crankcase ventilation system. I just had my intake open last night and there's a light coating of oil inside the compressor outlet and charge pipe. This is normal for all engines and turbos. It's also why many install oil catch cans onto similar vehicles, which I may do down the line as I find a suitable kit (likely from a Toyota Supra application).
The B57 diesel has one already; anyone check to see if the B58 is similarly equipped ex factory?
The thread on the Hengst "disc separator" is here. Hengst certainly make a petrol version, whether the INEOS has it is the question. AU diesel models have it.
