Can't find phone holder image

Hello all - truth be told, our search function isn't the best. This is for a variety of reasons, but it can be quite frustrating when one is looking for something and cannot find it. Hence this post!

Somewhere here there was a photo of a phone holder/tray that sat above the infotainment dial on the consol. Can any of you direct me to that image?

One word of caution, coming from a Cannonball Run guy, I tend to think of everything in a vehicle as a potential projectile especially when airbags are in the vicinity. I try to keep anything that could go flying mounted low... taking an iPhone to the knee vs the head seems preferable. Not a huge deal when off road at low speed, but assuming you daily the truck at highway speeds on occasion it's something to think about.

Thanks but that's not it. It was a raised "tray" that covered the infotainment dial and buttons. It's driving me nuts.

Hello everbody,

I want to remove the cupholder between the front seats for installing a self-made tray. I removed the four screws but the cupholder wasn't removable. Are there some clips or is there a trick to remove the cupholder?

I had designed a box to block my dogs from stepping on the buttons that one version also had a tray. I think I posted on FB. I don't have a picture as I gave it away to someone. Here is the STL file. I guess I should get around to putting it in resources?

This is very nice but not what I'm searching for. Maybe I imagined it. As I recall (or saw in a state of delirium) it was more like a frame with a ledge the phone sat on. If the phone was not there you had access to the rotary dial and buttons.

But... I only want the phone bit (no need for cup holder part. I just got access to Fusion 360 but the knowledge from my CAD classes in the early 90s is long gone (and would be way outdated even if I could recall anything)!

I used to know CAD well in the 90's, I really would like to learn to use a real program like OnShape. But until then I use the simplistic TinkerCAD. See what you think of this. I whacked the cupholder off and radiused the corners.

Yea, that basically it. But there's another fly in the ointment. I have the grenadierusa cup holder and it has two "protective" metal protrusions. But, if it was solid there could be recesses in the base into which the bars would slot.
