Agile Off Road Front Shaft

Based on what?
There are double cardan joints on the front axle of IG. Commonly used on HD axles.
On Discovery 2 the front prop shaft has one DC joint (on transfer case end) and original quality shafts have a lifetime of > 150' km (100' miles). And no vibration.
Yeah, I've been curious why the Agile shaft didn't look like the Disco 2 DC one. It worked fine for me for many years with the standard OME lift, which I think is about 1.5".

I have I guess the 2" lift on Terra joint. Zero vibes and not much if any droning.

I did get buzzing vibes when my original joint was going out.
Buzzing vibes. Can we talk about this real quick? Since my last service about 1000 miles ago, I have various areas of buzzing that seem more like the dash and rear cargo area plastics rubbing together. I am at 16,500 miles. I have tried to push and move the plastic bits to eliminate it but to no avail. I do have a lift, so I can view the unercarriage easily. Should I be focused on the boots at the propshaft(s) where it connects to the transfer case, is it the yoke, looking for tears or something else? Can anything be seen in advance that anyone is aware of?

P.S. I am bone stock suspension wise. no off road travel only asphalt (Tarmac)

It can buzz. Its possible there is internal damage, not sure if anyone has caught one failing with the boot still intact. But its just that end at the t/case that is the concern. I am having flash backs to the Xterra disaster in 2005.( to fair the H3 and FJ Cruiser came out and went down in flames as well, seemed like rush release and lack of testing) Diff blew up the moment you went off road and was redesigned almost immediately. For 2006 or 2007. They denied my claim due to having a lift, had to go to arbitration, at least Ineos took care of my rear locker issue. Then the transmission was a 100 percent failure for years and years due to a metallurgy issue. The coolant lines in the radiator reacted with the antifreeze and ate through in no time. Many years later Nissan would have to pay for all the trashed transmissions that customers replaced and step up. Probably got cornered as a safety issue like this. When a few hundred transmissions had blown up I ran down to Auto Zone and installed an external transmission cooler. I would literally see posts in the forums "Mine is fine, no way I am modifying a brand new truck that should be under warranty" . Literally a day or 2 later the transmission would blow and leave a 15K repair bill that Nissan would reject warranty work, no idea why. Maybe it was accusations of maintenance and over heating.. The driveshaft is like that. You can have yours explode, hope it does not cause an accident, take out a 15K transmission, a t/case, wiring harnesses and so on while waiting on a recall or a warranty repair once failure occurs. Don't forget the tow is only covered for 100 miles, ouch. Or just except the fact you need to deal with it sooner then Ineos may resolve to avoid the chaos.
