Thread 'Lazer Lights, ROOF, GRILLE & WORK LIGHTS'
Had a very positive response from Joshua of Lazer Lights. My preferred solution for the roof lights and hopefully one we can progress with.

Thread 'Vehicle mounted twin air compressor'
Anyone had any thoughts, or perhaps previous experience or observations, about installation of a twin cylinder compressor? Particularly interested in mounting location, preferably not in the interior. Previously was using a portable single.
£748 seems a bit excessive for a 42" light bar?
Well, I figured I would just leave a trail here for posterity. My Grenadier has been having an issue for a few weeks where even though it's a warm day, and it's very hot in the cabin, the auto mode barely blows the AC. If I do turn the temp control all the way to "LO" then, and only then, do the fans ramp and I get lots of cold air. If I turn it up one click--to 66F--the fan goes to super low speed and even though a bit of cool air is trickling out the vents, the interior is overheating...
Hi legends, I know there's a few threads already. But I'm trying to simplify it as doing a lot of reading and not seeing much helpful info. Dial is all the way on mad heat. No matter how I set the fans right hand side is blowing cool air andeft hand side blowing lava. Is there a fix? If so, is it a dealer problem or home diy? Ta
My A/C was not blowing as cold as it was all last summer, so I swung by the Nashville dealer while I was in town for other reasons. (I purchased in Atlanta) They confirmed the refrigerant was low and topped it up. They are saying that since I've owned it for more than 1 year, it is not covered by warranty. Sounds wrong to me? PS: The computers were down when I left, so they said they would call later with the invoice. I haven't paid it yet.
Got my Grenadier recently and from the get go my AC buzzes on highest fan setting. If I turn it down a bit it goes away, if I turn it back up it starts out okay but eventually starts buzzing again.
I just purchased a Granadier and just the next day noticed that the air conditioner was not cooling while I had the family in the car. In fact, my daughters were in the back seats and they told me that the air out of the rear vents were blowing extremely hot air. I initially thought I had a wrong setting turned on. I double checked everything and there were no errors made. I tried the auto switch to no avail. This seemed to turn off the air as I tried to adjust volume control. From what I...
I have read about a few A/C problems on the forum including refrigerant leaks (resulting in air not blowing cold) and water dripping into footwell. My forum search skills may be lacking but I am not finding a thread about electrical issues related to the HVAC system. Please point me in that direction if this has been discussed already. I am in a high-temp (95degF) high-humidity location on the U.S. southeast coast this week. The Grenadier has been perfect (towing like a champ) except for...
Does anyone else have the problem that the windscreen keeps fogging up from the outside? I would like to find out if this is a general design fault or an individual problem with my vehicle: The AC outlet in the dashboard keeps blowing cold air which leads to the windscreen constantly fogging up from the outside in humid conditions; be it rain or just higher humidity outside. I have tried turning off the AC (btw: does anyone know whether the light means on or off?) and switching the fan...
I don’t often like having the heating on in a car, but drive to Canberra and it was cold so O switched the climate control to the warm side and really got nothing but cold air until basically all the way across to the warm side and then got a little bit of warm air. Anyone else had this?
Thread 'High load aux switch help please'
After much fault finding I have found that my vehicle is missing the bridging plate on the 5 stud busbar. Anyone know where I can track one down? Attached is a photo of my own busbar housing (though note that the busbar plate itself is missing, normally expected to sit under the fuses). Additionally, I've also attached a picture of a fully functional one I've found elsewhere on the forum (credit to @TheDocAUS for that one) to hopefully make it more obvious which part I'm missing. Thanks Will
Is there any standardization among the off road community on what size Anderson plug to use? I ordered a bag of 175s off Amazon and when I got them I was wow.. that is too big. So I sent them back and got the 120s, which seem Ok, I'm just going to be running things like a 1000W inverter, dual head air compressor, phased plasma rifle in the 40w range... usual stuff. I will do a termination in front and back of the vehicle and might make up a jumper cable. I do see some of the hive mind...
Thread 'Strange rooftop plug issue'
Starting to map out lighting and thought I was going crazy. My 25 fieldmaster with the extra aux switches is missing the dtp plugs/protective boxes on the driver side roof. They are on the passenger side front and rear, missing entirely on the driver side. I pulled the grab bar panels and a strange connector is seemingly ready for the boxes front and rear, but were never finished out. Dealer to rectify?
Thread 'Auxiliary Switches: What do you use yours for?'
As I ponder what upgrades to add, what do you folks use your auxiliary switches for? I read through some old threads, but maybe now is a good time to hear what everyone has added over time! I mentioned elsewhere I want to re-wire the off-road only auxiliary light switch to a forward facing mounted spotlight, which folds flat. Here’s my concept of swapping the hood plate for an aluminum one which I can mount the remote spot onto: Along with that I’d like to update the driving lamps with...
Thread 'Setting up Android Auto'
Here is some tips for setting up Android Auto on your Grenadier if the phone does not recognize the Grenadier. When I was at the dealership to pick up my vehicle, the dealer walked me through connecting my Pixel9 Pro. I was surprise that despite being connected, my Android Auto would not start up. I figured out that you need to go into the app and set up the Grenadier. This could be phone related or vehicle related in terms of not automatically recognizing the Grenadier in Android...
I have the leitner rack currently with a starlink up on it. What changes would be required, if any, to install a solar panel, connect it to a dutch plug, and have it keep a battery charged? Is this possible?
First, sometimes I write too much ….. sorry. My question is I am adding a winch from GP Factor. Owl Vans has an installer near me. I could have done it myself but probably happen quicker if someone else does it. Do they need to program something for the electrics to work? I have the winch pre wiring from factory already. I ask because the dealer is installing the tow package and I am a little delayed for programming. I will do the winch when it arrives, but I wonder if they need to...
Anyone consider running the factory fog lights (or even aftermarket LP4s in place of the factory fog lights via the Owl bracket) too the 10a under hood pre-wiring in order to access the fog lights outside of “Offroad mode and high beam on” via the Ext 1 switch? Would this be possible? Eli in SA
