All of a sudden when I am calling on the Apple CarPlay, the recipient says it sounds like I’m standing next to a buzzsaw. Hanging up and recalling doesn’t correct it. Dealer says no reports of this from anyone. Anyone having an issue like this ? It’s worked fine before.
Thread 'Average economy counter'
How do I reset the avg economy via the indicator stalk. Short press changes it from reset from start or from reset. I’ve long pressed it and it resets the counter on the main left screen. However the left and right screen never correlate (the same). Obviously the left counter looks right but the right screen is always wrong. On the right screen it says 9.5 mpg avg from start or 166 mpg from reset. What have I done wrong? I cannot figure this out. Also on my current consumption when...
Hi, I just picked up my new grenadier. I just wanted to know if the back passenger seat is pre-wired to add this addition. Wanted to know if dealer can install or is this a factory install ?
I want to change the switched Ext2 outlet from the right side front to the left side front. Original the Ext3 switch comes with 3 outlets, 1 front left, 2 rear. The front left Ext3 outlet I cannot use, but would like to have at this position the outlet of Ext2. The right front outlet I do not need at all so would not make a new wiring for it and leave it empty. Any thoughts how to proceed? Is there an easy way by just changing connections at the fuses?
Sorry I checked a few posts. I left the back door open for a while and now my cargo light doesn’t come on. Middle passenger overhead light stays on and the front overhead light behave properly. I locked the truck and the center lights stay on. Stuck on where to look.
My truck gives a bong when I exceed the speed limit. Is it possible to turn it off?
Unlocked the truck, opened the driver door and the cabin remained dark. None of the lights came on. The screen awoke as normal but, even after ignition, the interior dome lights would not come on when the door opened. Any ideas?
My son tries to pretend he’s too cool to notice when my Grenadier makes a PlayStation sound. I crack up when he’s gaming in the house and his PlayStation starts sounding like my Grenadier. Coincidence, or did Ineos engineer an Easter egg to bridge the generational gap?
Does anyone know the 12v reverse wire that activates camera when reversing? This is the harness in rear 3/4 door: I know red is constant, but which one triggers when shifted in reverse? Thanks!
Thread 'AI made it into the Grenadier 😄'
New to me: The INEOS Grenadier can be equipped with an Alcohol Interlock (AI). It is an optional device that can be assembled by Aftersale service. Source: I did find the following PDF document in the documentation section on the site ineosgrenadier.com https://ineosautomotive.stylelabs.cloud/api/public/content/Alcohol_Interlock_Document Beside the AI Document I noticed a new section https://ineosgrenadier.com/en/gb/support/documentation The link can be found under Useful >...
Has anybody experienced a very quiet ticking noise coming from the back seat when using the wipers, it only happens on the adjustable speed setting. Was thinking maybe a relay. Also the rear window washer pump is not working either, maybe they are linked somehow?
Thread 'ID 10T light'
I have been looking for what this light is telling me but I cant find it. I looks like a engine and maybe a a/c compressor or alternator?
Stuck in stop and go traffic trying to get across Vail Pass. The front parking sensors keep going nuts. I assume it’s because of Snow? We’re going so slow that I am just running in off-road mode now to make it shut up. It’s very annoying when it just keeps bleeping at you and there’s no problems. Thoughts?
Thread 'Access to Fuses'
I've been working up a list of spare fuses I think I should carry and I'm frustrated by access to many of the fuses. Many of the fuse boxes are hidden under the plastic panel under the rear seat, requiring quite a bit of disassembly to get at them. A few examples of fuses I think might be good to carry: - Fuses for the roof power points, in the Accessory Pre-Fuse Box. - Fuse for the US-spec 400-watt inverter, in the Interior Pre-Fuse Box. - Fuse for the 350-amp rear NATO plug, in the...
American owners need to start asking OMEGA Offroad if they can develop their Genesis OMEGA dual battery system for the Grenadier and QM. They say in another video they want to hear from owners what cars they should support. A Grenadier version would look very nice and easy to install if they can adapt it. @Krabby @anand View: https://youtu.be/Z3WoJVBvSl0 View: https://youtu.be/rOtIBga-wic
Thread 'My Toaster is smarter'
My toaster can figure out Day Light Savings but my $90k Grenadier can't. 🙄 Wish the truck just came with a mechanical clock at this point along with all the other stuff that wasn't supposed to be bogged down by tech.
Have an airbag light on the dash from unplugging the wiring harness under the front seat. Connected back up but have an airbag light. Are obd tools able to reset these for Ineos? Thanks for the help
Does anyone have experience removing the lower switch panel? I want to install some accessories to the top-left and top-right panel 'squares', which are blank. I had hoped each was a separate little metal square that I could remove by unscrewing the 4 torx screws, but the entire lower panel is a single sheet of metal. If I go ahead and undo the dozens of torx screws, what else do I have to do to free up the panel? Presumably I have to prise off the rotary knobs for Audio Volume, Air...
Thread 'Diagnostic Connections'
I can see and understand the struggles while attempting a diagnostic session. There are two basic requirements, 1) Identify the PINs of the DLC with images and 2) Find / search / steal a network schematic. The identification will help root out the network gateway.
Thread 'Engine Temp Mismatch'
Hello Gren group - I have noticed that the engine oil temp gauge on the main display comes up to operating temp very fast - 90degreesC However the engine oil temp reading data in the offroad section of the computer is quite different. In the case of the picture the main gauge says 90 deg C and the data screen is at 36 deg C The lowest graduation on the main indicator is 50 deg C so I would have thought he indicator bars would be at the low end of the scale. NOT sowing normal operating...
