Hi all, Has anyone noticed some parts of their car showing exposed metal on the exterior? See below 👇 pictures where I think I have this, but really hoping to get some advice from the forum on whether this is normal or whether I should ask dealership to correct to prevent future rust issues. Please note that the pictures are taken when standing on the right rear tyre and looking back on the exterior roof. Cheers

I haven't found any aftermarket suppliers doing an interior folding windscreen sunshade. I am aware of full window shade sets but I only wanted something for the windscreen. Dear wife made one for our Grenadier by cutting down a 150 x 80cm sunshade which we bought from here (Australian example). Finished size is 150cm wide x 40cm high. Hi I wanna buy ready to pick up trialmaster utility version without heated exterior mirrors. The dealer told me is no option to change it for heated version. I'm wondering if it's possible to install an aftermarket version of the heated mirrors?

Windscreen washers have developed a fault - push water but only a half hearted dribble rather than reaching the windscreen. Passenger side one seems to be spiting out around from the base of the jet housing. I suspect pipe has split or come loose here and hence losing pressure across system. Goes on next week so have listed it for a fix along with a few other minor niggles (a/c water leak getting fixed is the big one). Will update once I know more.

Is anyone else experiencing a sticking drivers door external door button which prevents the door from Latching into the B post door latch? Spray grease temporarily sorts it but it’s back in a couple of days?

Has anyone had this happen on the windscreen top seal . Flush fit on drivers side but raised 5/6cm on N/S. I don’t appear to have any water ingress, yet. If you have had this did IG do a repair or replacement.

Because I throw a lot of salty things on the roof (on racks), this is where my past vehicles begin to rust. Anyone know if they galvanize the roof? Ford and Chevy have not done so over the years.

Hi all, I would have liked to have the option to have the rear door A painted in red as well as the A on the bonnet of the vehicle. On speaking to a friend who has a car wrapping business he made me up a couple and stuck them on the same day, I'm really impressed with how they look. Hi, Just hit the 3000 mile mark and the last 500 have been a journey to Scotland and back, motorway miles mostly. Have noticed a rattling noise from the front passenger window at 70 mph. Thought it might be the trim on the front edge of the gutter so tightened the screw(it was loose!) and padded out the bit that goes over the front screen seal. Didn’t help. Next tried wedging the glass from the inside at various locations. Also didn’t help. I’m thinking it could be the glass loose in its...

New one today - after finally giving it a wash, when cleaning the windows I noticed that the fixed panes in the rear passenger doors move! If you put your hand against the pane and push it up/down or side/side it moves around 10mm in any direction. They don't leak but I wouldn't have thought they should do this - could some of you see if I'm not just that lucky person again please? Thanks.....

Hello, my central locking doesn‘t work as the rear doors often (too often!!!!) are not recognized as closed. If the issue occurs, I try to close it multiple times until I see it also closed on the central display. It might relate to the software/sensor issues, but I still hope somebody in the forum knows a solution. Thx.

When I’m facing my fifth replacement screen with only 24,000 kms on my lovely new defender, I’m wondering if anyone can advise on the durability of the screens on the IG? I was on Facebook and someone mentioned the underbody grommets are put in incorrectly. They have a tendency with little pressure to fall out. When wading water egress is possible. Worth checking and correcting if need be.

Cars in with the Retailer to have the door seals replaced as coming away from bodywork. Has anyone else suffered the same?

I was looking through the manual and it mentions heated mirrors and windshield washers. Is that standard on the US cars, I think they manual (EU) made them sound like options,. I don’t remember that. Mirrors are nice, Washers are a big plus for mountain driving. There isn’t a heated steering wheel either, right?
