Hi - still in the decision making process and wondering if anyone has needed to have any accident repair, and if there were any supply issues with body panels, lights, glass, etc. Here in Oz there are rumours some newer model Chinese built cars seem to take forever to be repaired, so thought I’d check the IG situation.

I’m looking at having an ExoShield installed on my windshield and PPF on some or all of the vehicle. Accutint in Bellevue seems like a good option. I’m looking for thoughts and feedback from folks with personal experience. Let me know the good and the bad. What service(s) you had performed and how they have held up. Thanks in advance! -Peter

Hi I'm just about 600 miles in on my new Grenadier and trying to fix a few of the finishing glitches that the factory thought was acceptable! There's a poor fit between the left hand front wheel wheel arch trim and my front fender/bumper. I've loosened the torx retaining screws and made efforts to get everything to line up better but there's something up behind the trim that's packing everything out. This part of my windscreen rubber surround is loose against the bodywork and already collecting dirt + dust underneath, Can someone confirm if it is supposed to be stuck down? It doesn't make sense for it to be collecting crap and water! Thanks

I'm currently on a road trip from Adelaide (Australia) to Darwin and back again. Nearly all on road and towing a small hybrid van. Really enjoying the trip and driving tbe Grenadier. Unfortunately i have just driven to Simpsons Gap which is west of Alice Springs and on the way back suffered my second cracked windshield of the trip. I was able to get the first one replaced in Darwin as an insurance claim. Of course insurance only covers one claim a year so when I get back to Adelaide, and...

Anyone have any ideas who might be able to fabricate some chequer plate for the bonnet to match that of the OEM wings? Perhaps a certain dark wooly company or Buzz outfit might come up with some? I keep wanting to put stuff on the bonnet (rifle etc) but don't want to keep sticking a blanket down everytime.

I have discovered a new oddity. When the car is locked, I can open the rear door. But only a small gap, it doesn't open completely. Is this a bug or a feature? Maybe a slot for love letters? Both of my corner pieces of the front bumper are bent backwards and one also upwards a bit. My dealer seems somehow unwilling to repair it. They want to replace it. Nonsense for me. So can anyone help me with this. How do i get off the side sections of the front bumper?

after washing the car I noticed that there are two water leaks on the back of the trunk. one right and one left. I assume they come from the fixing screws of the external handles on the roof. any experience or advice? thanks

Anyone planning to attach blind spot mirrors? There is a rather large blind spot on the driver side, wondering if anyone is planning to install aftermarket blind spot monitors or just stick a blind spot mirror?

The OEM rear wiper is 15". I got a 16". Adds an inch more coverage and doesn't go past the glass. Is that too long for the motor to handle?

Never had a problem until recently, however I've started to notice this over the past week or so - particularly if the roads have been salted. The outermost 3-4" of sweep of both wipers is failing to clear as well as the rest of the sweep. It's not particularly unusual to have this effect in the UK with light salty spray from the car in front drying on the screen, particularly if the screen heat is being used. I have the smooth pack on my car. It’s supposed to have heated washer jets. They don’t seem to work though. The heated mirrors are activated by the rear de-mist switch but I can’t seem to get the washer jets to defrost. The screen wash that I am using should be good for -10 but it obviously isn’t. I’ve just done a 40 minute run. I’ve had the rear de-mist on the whole way. The washer jets are still frozen. So either I’m doing something wrong, ie. Not activating the heaters or they aren’t...

Hi, Anybody making a replacement front grill to incorporate oblong led lights either in a horizontal or vertical orientation. I know lots of folk prefer the original round lights and that’s fine . I don’t like the thought of using Lazers option of cutting the grill to fit and they are expensive- defender grills are cheap so come on there must be a demand for grill alternatives

I swear I read a rating for the grab handles on the roof at some point but now I can't find it? I have a few big wall portaledges that I use climbing and thought in a pinch when not towing my trailer, like I have a choice in that right now anyway, I could just hang a portaledge off the handle and sleep in that. I thought I read somewhere a 300lb rating on those handles but can't find any rating now.
