Cargo Barrier - Help Wanted Please - I tried to move the cargo barrier to the position behind the front row of seats rather than the back row which is how it is delivered. It won't fit. The dealer is telling me that it is not intended to be there. However, there are the same mounting points on the roof for the front row as the back row of seats. It makes no sense that you can't move the barrier. I have a half height barrier. If that is correct what are the forward roof mounts for? Is anyone...
No, I do not mean the song from Tina Turner. Today, during a one hour drive in the rain, my left door window (driver's side) got fogged up, while the right (passenger's side) remained clear. We were two people - driver and passenger - and I had to push the window defroster button (blower) several times to clear the left window. Anyone else?
Thread 'Moisture under the airline rail in the trunk.'
At Christmas it was very wet in Germany and I drove about 1500 km in the rain. When I arrived home, I wanted to install my DIY rubber trunk mat and unscrewed the airline rails. To my surprise, the screws on the underside were wet. How does water get in from below? It is noticeable that both the rail on the underside and the screws are fitted with a seal. Has anyone observed anything similar?
Would someone please measure the space between the stop/start and audio knob. I have found a tiny garage remote control fob and I'm hoping it will fit in there nicely (just stuck on). The fob's dimensions are roughly 4 cm x 6 cm. Also, what is the approx size of the white rectangle that surrounds the SS button itself. Thank you. Edit - if that fails to fit, I may just mount in between the overhead switches.
Here is what I received when I reached out to them: We are so excited to see that you are interested in Katzkin! Unfortunately, we do not have leather interiors for the 2024 Ineos, Grenadier, but we do have the capabilities to manufacture the pattern for it. It is a little more costly, but it can be done. Price does vary on design: The cost for a single tone match to the current color interior is $1,895.00+tax installation included. The cost for a two-tone option or non-recommended...
Thread 'DIY Rear Cargo Shelf'
I sketched up a rear cargo shelf and had it laser cut, bent and powder coated. Looks great, so thought I'd share the cad file for anyone that is so inclined. Sorry about the .zip, it wouldn't let me upload a .dwg Most sheet metal shops could make it happen for you by sending them the cad file. I made it from 2.0mm alum. I'h very happy, but some may prefer to go to 2.5 or 3.0mm. You’ll also need: Ten M6x10 nut/bolt/washers to bolt the parts together. You can also use M6 rivnuts if you...
Thread 'Where does this part belong?'
Hello everyone, does anyone know where this part comes from? Unfortunately I didn't find any place where it could belong. I found it on the ground behind my car. Thanks for your help. Greetings Roland
Starting this Post for Wood and Other Interior Trim Options. Saw this Youtube Video showing what may be upcoming Goose Gear Wood Trim Options. Looks nice! DaBull View: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZwOi9ANctXs
Has anyone bought a Sunvisor mirror with lights from Amazon/Ebay? My wife wants one put on. I looked at what’s for sale and I don’t like the look of the ones that have the elastic strap going around the visor. The one that have a clip appeal to me, but given how hard the visors are, I don’t know if it would stay attached. Any insight from anyone that has bought one?
Thread 'Spare bolts - any idea what these are?'
Found these under the tool kit beneath the passenger seat. Torx cap screws, short look like M5, long M6 coarse thread.
Has anyone come up with anything that makes the factory "cup holders" anything other than completely worthless and a waste of space? Seriously, what coffee mugs do they use in europe? Do europeans drink liquids? My smallest travel coffee mug barely wedges in that stupid hole. While I'm at it, has anyone come up with something that adds cup holders for the rear passengers?
Thread 'Handles'
I would like to add this handle to the driver side. Has anyone done this? I couldnt find an existing thread…
Oh happy day, my accessories arrived! Swing by my dealer today to get checker plates and rear folding table added. Also picked up the factory seatcovers. Let’s just say, they are the most unimpressive thing I have encountered on this project. Utter rubbish. Highly recommend avoiding the factory seatcovers.
I've had my Grenny less than a day. I did not get the heated seats, so the two panel areas where those controls would ave been are blank. So I thought I could install a panel mount USB outlet there. I removed the four screws in the upper left square panel, but it would not come off. Closer inspection revealed that it is not a separate panel but just a section of the entire control panel, even though it is made to look like it is separate. That entire panel is held on with 28 screws! Do...
Has anyone added carpet to a Trialmaster? If so, how much was the road noise decreased? Just curious if I should consider putting it in mine? Thanks.
Thread 'Leaking - Multiple Areas'
It’s currently raining and I’m seeing leaks/drips coming from near windshield and control panel. It’s rained in the past and I haven’t noticed this. Has anyone experienced this?
Good morning everybody, does anybody know how big is the hole spacing of the lashing rail in the car boot? There is a international size of 1'' (= 25,4 cm) and a size for the EU-market which is exactly 25 cm. Thank you for your answers. Greetings Roland
I want to remove the full size cargo barrier from my 2 seater. Anyone has done this and willing to share advise?
