As the head liner fasteners seem to be one-way items, I am looking for an alternative from some third party source. INEOS will probably charge 3 Euros per piece or so - which I want to avoid. I've seen that there are many offers on ebay, but I don't know which ones would fit. Perhaps somebody has already found a solution. Ebay example (scroll down a bit): https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=dachimmel+clipse&_sacat=0&_odkw=dachimmel+befestiger&_osacat=0
Hi, Has anyone come across great cargo shelf options that sit at the window line of the trunk? I’m looking for something that will act as both a cargo shelf and good way to hide what’s in the trunk. Diabolical has a shelf option, but it looks like it sits higher than the window line. Either a fixed or slide out shelf, sitting at the window line or slightly below that connects via the four trunk mounting hooks would be amazing. https://shop.diabolicalinc.com/products/grenadier-mid-deck...
Thread 'GrenX Drawer system with integrated fridge & double bed platform'
Hello fellow owners, I just wanted to show you some photos of our GrenX Grenadier Drawer system we designed with integrated fridge and double bed platform. I hope you like it. Shipping Australia Wide. We are also working on getting a water storage tank custom made to fit above the wheel arch void where we should be able to fit 20L.
Thread 'Security Safe'
Has anyone mounted a locking security safe of any kind in their Grenadier? I’m currently looking for options for the rear cargo area. It would be used for locking valuables, particularly rifles on hunting or shooting trips. There is about 40” width and 33” of depth to work with the back of the IG. I’ve found a couple options that might fit. Also, a 6 or 7” tall option would also be level with the folded down rear seats. This SnapSafe model is nice that it’s a locking pull out drawer...
Currently, the only Armrest Organiser Tray I see for the Grenadier, is for sale on Amazon and EBay at £54.00!! Why so expensive when the same item for other cars is £10 - £18.00. Is this something that could be made and sold within the forum at a more reasonable price?
I just picked up my Trialmaster and it has everything I want except one thing - saddle leather. I have the black wrap on the wheel and brake handle. As wacky as it might seem, do you think these are parts I could order? Or maybe one of you want to trade? Can those even be changed or swapped?
Thread 'Safari window latch - anyone else with this issue?'
So this piece fell down from my passenger side safari window last week. I tried putting it back in but couldn’t get it to stay in place. I was at the dealership yesterday getting my windshield replaced and asked about this. Their response shocked me. They would need to order a whole safari window to get this part and it cannot be repaired and they have done this with 1 other Grenadier already. It’s under warranty, but seems a bit “light duty” for the Grenadier. Now maybe the dealer...
Thread 'The perfect Cargo Shelf + Tailgate Table'
Hello, I installed the following items from Bison Gear, the quality is great, very good price and easy to install 👍🏻 - Side table / Tailgate Table (the best part you don’t have to remove the original door cover and worry where to put the first aid kit). - Roof Shelf / Cargo Shelf - Folding Cargo (you don’t need it if you have the original fence) - Under shelf compartment for Front Runners Director chair. (I recommend buying the chairs with the bags so they don’t rattle). feel free to ask...
After an 8 week wait, my Black Sheep seat safe is scheduled to arrive tomorrow! Have any of you removed and reinstalled the driver seat? Any guidance or gotchas would be appreciated.
Thread 'Seat rail/slider with longer travel to improve cargo lenght?'
Hi, I'm trying to unlock slider or find a longer rail. If the seat is set at the highest point you still have around 10 cm / 4" to gain. At the lowest point you have 20cm / 8" to gain --> From 205cm / 80.7" you'll be able to go a little more than 215cm / 84.6" I would also love to have the seatback tilt backward (so it is completely flat) and/or fold forward to use it as a table! --> From 205cm / 80.7" you could reach around 250cm / 98.5" My first attempts to identify a flange on the...
Thread 'Cargo rail system - bolt question'
I removed the factory rail system in the rear of the IG to fit a big country drawer system. Problem I have is that I don’t know what I’ve done with the bolts from the rails d’oh! Could anyone show me one of the bolts please? I can find them in my ‘bolt bin’ then 😅 ( I know any bolt of the right size will do but just want to find the correct ones. I might reattach to the top of the drawers)
Thread 'Bedliner in cargo area'
The plastic in the rear of the cargo bed seems to scar easily. Anyone try using spray-on bedliner on the plastic to make it more abrasion resistant? Thinking about applying it to the wheel well plastic area.
Hi all, I lost one of the screws holding the plate that the seat heat button is mounted to in the dash below the screen. Dropped the screw as i took it out and it disappeared. I tried magnets all around the footwell but I can't find it. Anyone has a source for where I can find an identical screw? I was hunting in fastenals catalogue but could not quite find the right screw. Looks like mcmaster-carr should have something that will work, someone texted me and said look at their pages
Thread 'Drivers door rattle after garaging'
So I have been away for a couple of weeks. The Grenadier was parked in the garage. I get back in it over the weekend and there is a crazy irritating door rattle from inside the Door Trim. I removed the central lower screw but the Trim was still very snug to the metalwork. Using a Trim tool I managed to create enough space for the following parts to fall out of the Door! Anyone else had these random loose trim clips? The loose Nub part below seems like it's from another one of the full...
Thread 'Interior Panel Clips - Part number or Cross Reference'
Curious if anyone has found a part number or comparable replacement to the trim panel clips for the IG? I had to pull the B-pillar panel and despite being VER careful and using a trim panel tool, I broke 2 of them. Here are a couple pictures of the clips. Any help would be appreciated as the dealers don’t show a part number. Worst case - I have a pretty good inventory of Toyota clips, but while they have the rubber isolator, they don’t have the full seal like the factory IG clips. I...
Is there a way to remove these warning stickers (US)? Or to cover them up? In other cars that had black visors I covered them up with black stickers but it might be hard to find an exact color match with the light color.
Thread 'Removing Headliner'
Hi Does anyone know of good instructions on how to remove the rear headliner? I want to find this place to feed solar power into an autonomous battery. Picture from the forum. Thx
Hello, I have a Fieldmaster - 16 months old, 10,000 miles. The moulded covering of the structure the drivers front seat sits on, which is also into the footwell has worn away, too quickly and too a degree I wouldn't expect. It's not going to last a rugged or utilitarian life, as mine is pretty ,much pavement. I have attached a picture and would like to know if anyone else has a similar problem. Thank you, P`addy
Hey, Has anyone in the Americas installed the bison gear rear shelf with the Load/Cargo barrier? I’ve got it installed and to get it to latch in the down position the headrests have to be all the way up. And it just seems incorrect. Keep in mind I do have a Base vehicle with the seats in the more reclined position. I attempted to move the seat brackets to make the seat more verticals, but that doesn’t work as the bracket will not allow the seat to latch in the vertical position. I would...
I’m looking to add some things to the overhead panel, and I need longer versions of the screws used to hold the panels in. I took them to the local hardware store and came up short. They identified them as self-tapping screws due to the really coarse and aggressive threads. They only had standard size, but it seems like they would be 4mm screws (take a 3mm hex wrench). Looking in McMaster-Carr, I’m not finding the same head style. Anyone have a hard ID on those screws and sourcing?
