The only trouble I can see, as I said in the other thread, if you change the C.V joint and you have a total failure you are in a world of trouble as possibly a new gearbox required plus other damage as the prop flails around. Unlikely to happen and you should hear if it’s gradually failing. Ineos warranty wouldn’t apply if an aftermarket CV joint had been fitted though. Mine failed with no warning but that was supposedly a Circlip failure although I’ll never know for sure.
That I don’t know as I don’t know if there any really distinguishable differences. Personally I won’t take the chance.Good to know, but do You think if Your prop shaft flies around somebody will find out that the joint was aftermarket?

Well, the shaft is two pieces and you only "need" to change the T-case side. So if the back half of the shaft is "missing" then who would know. Just sayin. Could have even happened when the tow truck picked it up and transported. Eibach front springs to level the front and rear, I discovered a broken front transfer-side shaft bellows. I already had a new Teraflex 1745000 joint at home, but the installation is proving much more complicated than expected: the transfer-side shaft refused to come off, and neither did the joint itself.
Did they disconnect the drive shaft when installing the springs? Having damage after only 1,000 km with just a 1.2-inch lift seems a bit too soon. The damage may have occurred during the spring installation.Today, less than 1,000 km after installing the 1.2-inch
I'll try to finish installing the new joint tomorrow, but are there any aftermarket universal joint or double universal joint shafts that I've tested that don't vibrate like CVs? If I remember correctly, they were all vibrating.
Haven’t there been failures of the drive shaft and boot on standard height vehicles with the lifted ones just exacerbating the problems from the design
