Sorry I was trying to be helpful by directing to you to another thread that I thought may have been usefull
The only trouble I can see, as I said in the other thread, if you change the C.V joint and you have a total failure you are in a world of trouble as possibly a new gearbox required plus other damage as the prop flails around. Unlikely to happen and you should hear if it’s gradually failing. Ineos warranty wouldn’t apply if an aftermarket CV joint had been fitted though. Mine failed with no warning but that was supposedly a Circlip failure although I’ll never know for sure.
