Hi Matt if you set the screen brightness with the headlights on it is supposed to remember that setting independently of the setting when the headlights are off .

Hmmm.. that doesn’t happen our end. I’ll try again after the latest software update, maybe that’ll do the trick!

Thread 'Re-wiring NATO Socket to INT2'

So I did this today.
I had asked Lynn Calder about altering the software but if that happens it will be a while off and I need the NATO to charge my trailer battery on our upcoming trip to Montenegro. So I have wired it to INT2 instead.

Here's how.
The NATO/Winch switch goes to the BCM and then to a relay under the back seat, from that relay the signal goes to the two big relays under the bonnet and in the RHS front wheel arch.
I had hoped to grab the signal from INT2 at the fuse which is also under the back seat but unfortunately the fuse is before the switch and so is permanently live...

I just used normal large washers in mine and they have stayed put since.

Appreciate this but I think I’ll just use some larger washers as suggested below. I just never get around to it as there’s always stuff going on. Not a big deal. Makes me smile for some reason. Reminds me of a Land Rover

Rather than a washer id diy it with a piece of 2mm thick plastic. About the size of the square opening area. Round the edges and cut it to shape for the opening. Door stop, some leftover packaging, almost anything flat will work. Then drill a hole offset of center for the screw to go through. I guarantee it will hold it better than a washer. The issue with a washer is that the hole is off center and there isn't a ton of room on one side, making only smallish washers feasible. I think a square piece like the folks from owl are using is a better design.
