Now that we've had some ownership time under the belt. What's your real world mpg in the USA calculated at the pump? Not the dash with the imperial gallons. I'm about to slap a new brush guard on, and just put new Nokian 34" tires on, a bit scared to look at the numbers.

I’m at 15.7mpg average over 9,266 miles. Best tank was 17.2 and worst was 13.2 which involved a lot of idling time during a storm that knocked power out for a few days.

That's very good. I did 16.5mpg one time in the Colorado mountains but at sea level and driving 80mph on highways I'm just not seeing it.

The TDI Tuning unit from the UK.

At 99% road travel over ~44k miles and driving on average about 70-75 mph on highways I am averaging a little over 13 mpg

~23k miles, lots of highway, skinny 33s, roof rack w/ solar, hi lift, and maxtrax and about 750lbs added to the vehicle I'm around 12.5-13.5; hand calculated and adjusted for speedo error with tire size. That's with a highway cruise speed of 75-82mph usually

- 7,500 miles on my stock grenadier.
- 95% highway driving to/from work approx 55-75mph.
- I fill up after 270-300 miles driven.
- avg 13(ish) mpg when calculated manually but I’m pretty sure the grenadier tells me I’m getting 16mpg

It's early and so far non scientific example of my QM. I had filled the tank once and am now beginning the app tracking for real world example. My QM is a daily driver and these numbers is a mixed of highway and city, almost 50/50. Tires are 255/80R17, PSI is 43 in front and 49 in rear. I am super gentle on acceleration and do between 60 to 65 on highway.

  • worst 13.2MPG
  • 30% HWY (+65mph)
  • 70% CITY (30mph)

With the factory Bridgestones:

Averages to 13.91 mpg, or 16.95 liters/100 km.
With new 33" Falkens, it is about 12.5-13.5, accounting for 3% odometer error. Haven't updated the graph yet.
Battling a ferocious headwind in March between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City on I-15, at 75-80mph: solid 10.
