Long road trip report

Certainly a valid opinion, but serious question, how do you square that with owning a Grenadier or even your Land Rovers. There is certainly some good wheeling to be had in the land down under, but is it entirely necessary to drive those tracks? Or can you avoid the worst of them and drive a kitted out Subaru that gets 25-30KPG. Talking petrol numbers, but I know yall have Diesel as well but I’m not sure of the economy numbers.

Not trying to dredge up another argument, just curious. Keeping in mind I have a decently sized carbon footprint from trucks to boats to airplanes. I certainly care about the environment but I also care about my toys so….
As long as our political ruling class finds it convenient to travel the world in huge jets and limousines, starting pointless conflicts and living in mega mansions—I refuse to worry about my carbon footprint.
