It was either paddocks or Craddocks or JGS4x4 or one of those other Land Rover spares websites, can’t remember which! I’m sure it’s the same part they all sell, was about £40.Where did you get that connection to the trailer power socket
Where do you add the negative to? The positive is clearly labelled. I've seen it's posted for diesel to attach it under the engine cover. Is that the only option as I'm going away and don't want to leave the engine cover off and bonnet open.I put mine under the bonnet.

You can use any earth point, on the petrol model I use the engine lifting eye which is just visible under the bottom left of the engine cover.Where do you add the negative to? The positive is clearly labelled.
Thanks. Sorry I just edited my post as I saw for diesel it's under the engine cover but ideally I don't want to leave the engine cover off whilst I'm away. You can use any earth point, on the petrol model I use the engine lifting eye which is just visible under the bottom left of the engine cover.
Thank you so much. Photo would be much appreciated as I found nothing in the bookThere are other good earth points near the jump start post. There are some bolts near front left of rad as you look into the engine bay that serve as good earthing points. I will try and find a photo.
I’ve just got this back from Ineos re charging profile.
Hi Dave
Yes use the AGM setting, most chargers have now are “smart” and do a slow start and slow finish on the charge.
Although it is an EFB the charging profiles operated by the Vehicle ( BCM and smart charge system) operate as an AGM profile.
Thanks
Check post 31 of this thread for a picture of a suitable earthing point.Thank you so much. Photo would be much appreciated as I found nothing in the book
Thank you so much. They could have just included it in the service bookCheck post 31 of this thread for a picture of a suitable earthing point.

I don’t have an AGM setting on the Victron chargers I own. It’s either normal, high ,Li-ion and Recondition. I use the normal setting which does an absorption charge at 14.4 volts as I’m not sure if the high setting at 14.7 volts is too high or not. It seems there are different types of AGM as well so I’m taking that it’s a basic AGM until I know different. Just for an idea here is a screen shot from the Victron mppt controller manual When I add my solar and Victron mppt controller I’ll use the no 2 setting which does an absorption charge at 14.4 volts until I know better. Thanks for posting that. I've been running a Noco on the standard battery setting. I'll switch it to AGM from now on.
So I put it on trickle using the NOCO 10, AGM 12v, for a few hours. Disconnected, turned on ignition & went from 60% to 66%.Exactly![]()
Happened to me yesterday! 70% then 0%, then the screen went blank!Yes unfortunately that’s happened to a few owners. This happened to me last year. First photo taken 1052hrs and the second at 1053hrs. Go figure that out.. Hasn’t happened since. My vehicle is regularly left for days and sometimes weeks connected to a smart charger.
