So I received this after asking if it is preprogramed.
Yes, the TPMS sensor (part #APTPMS255) for your 2024 Ineos Grenadier is pre-programmed and designed as a direct replacement. Once installed and after your vehicle's ignition is turned on, the car will automatically recognize the sensor during a short drive (typically within 10–15 minutes or after driving a few miles). There’s no need for additional programming or special tools.
I see thank you kindly

Should I try it? Only $50 per set

Don't have a PC to update my TS508. I have an old tablet that I'm updating drivers so maybe this weekend I can scan a factory sensor and clone...

I updated my TS508 to the latest software for this device. Confirming it is dead simple to clone a factory sensor ID to a new Autel MX sensor. I’m ordering four more sensors and will clone them prior to getting my new tires. This will allow me to complete 5-tire rotations.

Regarding the TS508 update, I didn’t really pay attention to update options and just clicked go. In hindsight, if you’re doing this I would pay more attention to what updates you can skip, leaving the unit software as old as possible, new as necessary. That said, my unit is fully functional, with the possible exception that I do not see connection by OBD menu selection (but this may only be active once you connect by OBD cable).
