No no, this is all excellent.
Very very early in the planning-12 months is a while away, but all excellent brain fodder.
The more I hear the more I can research and get the start of a cunning plan going.

Scotland is vast and beautiful, people often forget the lowlands are there too. I have spent years rushing to the amazing highlands, just to drive the full length of the A9 upto the Flow Country is just, I can't think of the right words other than AMAZING again. I had to visit some customers in the lower parts of the country and stopped outside Dumfries, again another UK town in decline, and the road to Stranraer and all the Small towns, upto Ayre and then the Galloway forest, which you can drive through, like Keilder in Northumberland. There are so many beautiful places in this small country of ours, Great Britain.
We also mustn't forget the Cairngorms national park and all the whisky distilleries in such a small area that you are able to visit.

Down south is Portsmouth for naval heritage along the Jurassic Coast to Plymouth and the Gin distillery

We haven't mentioned Oxford but beware of the various congestion zones that sound a bit overcomplicated. Beware of various tolls and congestion charges that have no toĺl booths, you just have to 'know' where to and rember to pay online. All different for each area to help raise funds in fines

Many of Britons jet off to foreign countries without ever exploring the beautiful country that we live in, the list is endless. Money leaves this country and our holiday destinations decline, I'm not advocating a visit to Blackpool but images of te front before foreign holidays became so readily available, was just a sea of people. The place now seems to be in terminal decline. North Wales and down the west coast is having similar issues. Whoever suggested Snowdon hasn't seen the images of queues at the peak for the quick selfie, parking has become a massive issue, and costly.
