Software Update!

Got mine back from the dealer last week after the software update was installed. Things I’ve noticed:

• Over speed warning does not reset after a key cycle. Good.
• The low fuel warning at 75 miles (amber message) is not accompanied by the loud chime, but the red warning still is. Good-ish.
• On my drive home, the radio would turn on by itself. If I had Apply CarPlay on and hit the mute button, it would stay off. F I had the radio on and hit the mute button, it would come back on after a couple minutes driving. Strange…
• Just last night after fueling up, the trip meter MPG would not display a value, just the “- -“ lines. Did the same thing this morning and has not displayed a value since. See image below. Not so good.

There was a safety recall, I don’t think it matters if they are good or not.

It is a sticker, the towing sticker needs to be updated apparently. I should pick it up tomorrow at some point.

Ha yes the tow weight sticker. Mine had no hitch so no sticker I guess

The update is now available for all cars. I have the earlier version. I'm at the dealership right now and it just got updated. It takes 1.5 hrs and there is only one update (not separate for newer vs. older models).

Not sure if this is related to the software update or perhaps a new gremlin.

Apple Car Play will no longer read whatsapp messages anymore. I can reply via Whatsapp and it will read out what I’ve spoken to it as a message, but if a message pops up and I click “read” it just skips it and then asks “do I want to reply?"

Any one else had a similar issue.
I have tried resetting the dash via holding the Mute button.
This has been going on for around 3 days with multiple car restarts in that period.
