Hello,

I know that the Grenadier even was planned for Expedition purpose!

But why is there no word in the manual, that the body of the trucks keeps a lot of water in case of an emergency?

No, I'm kidding!

During preparation for underbody coating we found water, a lot of water in the body on the right hand after pulling the drain plug!

Did anybody have the same issue so far? And did somebody find out where the water comes from?
The video is already on the way to Ineos...

Lift your front mats up and check if there is water standing on the floor. If yes, do you have a safari roof.

Had this on an early model with safari roof they know about it There are I think 3 bungs each side also under th RHS Matt beside to remove bungs to blow out with compressed air

If you have water under the carpets,

Pull this panel off

Check for water in the "cups" on this fitting.

and for marks of it running down this fitment

It can be from the safari windows in the roof, or in my case the front windscreen seal

Yes it is light surface rust on the pressed steel fitting where water had been running down from a leaking windscreen. I reckon it had been running down since new, 13 months before we found it.

I just tried mine, there was a little bit from the LHS nothing like as much as the one above and the RHS was bone dry..

Yes, lots!! No safari roof though! That’s my problem right now.

As I say mine turned out to be a leaking windscreen seal on the passenger side. I had to have the windscreen taken out and re- sealed. Fortunately the dealer had a spare windscreen in case it " popped" when removing it. To check it I had to run the hosepipe on the windscreen for 10 minutes and look for drips after taking the trim off as above. If you haven't safari windows drench the outerside center panel above the windscreen as well.

That’s the plan for today, but it’s been leaking for months and a new windscreen was installed last week. No bad sealant was found and upon re instillation the leak persists. So it must be coming from elsewhere.

I had water pooling in the floor and the sills, which all related to the door seals and the unexpected foot wash. The water trapped between the inner and outer door seal was slowly trickling into the sill, where it was not emptied until the bungs were pulled out.

There are older posts on here that outlined my issues, (door seals and air conditioning pipes), and the solutions.

All new door seals were installed. I’m putting a sprinkler on today try and find the source

I hear you, but it was leaking before the new windscreen and now with the new one. Very unlikely both were not sealed.

If it's not the windscreen, nor the door seals and you don't have the safari windows, does that just leave the air box/ cabin filter for the HVAC??
