Hello everyone;) Small question, has anyone already tried to dismantle the door panel or do you know what colours the cables from the speakers have? I would like to improve my sound system a little, I find the originals terrible... In the B column you would also have to get to the cables without dismantling the door panel? I just want to install a mini subwoofer under the driver's seat, the space should be enough;) If this question has already been asked, I apologise;)

I have been following various threads on speaker upgrades and tweeter positioning.

Had mine done yesterday (Focal flax Evo) and I’m super happy with the location and sound. Looks about as from the factory as I’ve seen.
I was looking at a similar location, an inch down and to the left where the leather is and it has a slight angle upward. Did you dynamat the whole door?

Hello,

I'm planning to upgrade the front speakers too.
I'd like to avoid pulling the tweeter wires thru the rubber hose between door and frame,

Is there a change concerning to the pictures of the different wire colors to find the wire to the doorspeaker underneath the A-pillar without massivly destroying the covers of the cable harness?
If so, I'd like to install the crossover there and connect it to the original wires.

Regards Sauerländer
