New Ineos Policy on towing?

Sure hope this is ‘legit’, as they used the term “steering dampener” vice ‘damper’.

Dampener is acceptable use;)

"A dampener (or damper) is something that reduces intensity ,often a physical device absorbing vibrations. It lessens harshness, noise, or shock, preventing discomfort, improving feel, and making things quieter or more stable. "

Following…I’m one of the few people that had a 200 mile tow performed under warranty, but it took several days of back-and-forth (this was last June, and they were able to attribute my issue to a warranty recall so approved the tow).

…and, just got word that apparently I may be partially responsible for making this happen due to the issue I had last May/June…hilarious.

And I thought that a “dampener” only made things wet…💧! (but I will certainly appreciate the ‘tow-to-dealer’ coverage if the need arises).
