OK just got off the phone with service, they said they have had this (zero function on HVAC) 5-6 times now where the issue is too much of the protective coating on the ground points for the HVAC system. They clean off the ground points and it fixes this issue. I am bringing it in tomorrow and they said it takes about 10 minutes so I will report back if it fixed the issue. Should be still cold enough tomorrow to full test.

Sorry to hear this. New car should not be without a functional HVAC.
Warranty is good to have (and expected) on a new vehicle, but one should to have to use it so soon.

The MY 2024s seem to have a lot more issues than the 2025s.

Unless there is a world wide product recall for the HVACs and they are replaced, these vehicles will be avoided in the future and will have much worse resale Values compared the 2026s+.

In 3-5 years when one is looking for a used Granny, why would anyone buy a 2024/2025 vs a 2026 or later model? It’s unfortunate that the HVAC cannot be remedied as easily as the steering.

2024 Trialmaster 25k miles. All stock except for a roof rack. Coldest setting with Air compressor switch on, is cold...... next notch is VERY warm, anything to the "right" (clockwise) from there, and its just full heat. Basically no adjustment at all. Either you have air conditioning, or full heat. I have a 1995 F800 truck with a mechanical slide lever that works better than this. If they put the temperature sensor in the duct after the fan/damper controls, and let us set the temperature of the air coming THROUGH the system, it would be much better.
I had this issue in my 24. Have you checked your coolant levels? Topping mine off and running the bleed procedure has fixed it for me.

I do think I've got a bad hot coolant tank too b.c there is some discoloration at the center seam and it appears to have lost some since filling about 3w ago. Taking it in for annual service tomorrow and have this on the list to be checked

Has anybody requested through formal channels (email to Lynn C or maybe Mark T in the US) about extending the factory warranty for the HVAC?
