Grenadier Alternatives (Australia)

Oh, and in response to the thread title, there are no viable, like for like, alternatives to the Grenadier in Oz.

I just did close to 16,000km (which included the Gibb River Road) in mine and had zero issues. Oh wait, I copped a ding in the passenger side door from a wallaby, a dented rear bumper from the drawbar on my camper, 5 stone chips and a long crack on my windscreen, and a stripped thread on the towbar tensioning bolt. Nothing that stopped me though.

After owning a Jeep Grand Cherokee for six years which spent a lot of time on a flat top, I finally have confidence that the Grenadier will get me there and back (Jeep's quote).

There needs to be a US/ North America version of this thread, because I'm sick of us getting all the crappy stuff. I would have bought a 70 series already if they were allowed.
