No doubt we are all looking for a definitive solution but given the JMACX font shaft has a single u-joint at the pinion it will be a compromise based on the physics of how u-joints work.

The question is not whether Agile's shaft will work in Moab - it will just fine. Here is an idea. For those going to Moab. If someone wants to test drive an Agile shaft let me know. Guess it looks like Steel Bender for me this year. So if anyone is running that trail with me we could arrange a test drive on the way there or back as well. I am going to see if John can drag some new shafts down.
I assume you are asking if the Agile shaft has problems at all ride heights. Is the Agile wave fundamentally a problem, or only beyond a certain lift height (over 3 cm)?

It is how long a trip it is going to be for John from Santee to Moab.
You're just having a bad dream bud, go back to sleep.Had an idea, I'm sure someone who has actual technical education will shoot me down.
Drive shaft with a slightly baggy cone shaped rubber on the inside of the transfer case, aiming inwards. Disc with a hole and plug holds in place, another cone shaped rubber attached pointing outwards but not baggy. Both tightly attached to the shaft at the small end. Maybe the outer one would require some kind of ridging to provide strength to stop billowing. Using the middle ring hole, add add grease filling the 2 cones and 'holding' the inner one in place.
Using this idea would not have any rubber crushing itself
It would be like a gearstick gaiter, but very short facing inwards and a tighter, reinforced one facing outwards and grease filling them
Please discuss & prove me an idiot
That was me trying to sleep last night, and failing!!
