Here are some pictures of the Dirtbox tray, some tweaks and order books will be open. I have asked if they could color match the half canopy doors and the under tray doors plus the side boards.

I called Couch off-road to learn more about the tray and spoke with Jay Couch. He spent 30 mins giving me the low down. He is more than excited about the outcome and I am on the Dirtbox train. I wish I had a transcript of our call as every second he gave such good info.

The size: he has extended the tray to over 6 feet in length and width is same size as width to door handles.
20 gallon water tank
Spare tire is mount under the bed with a slide/box to hold it. It opens
19/20 gallon spare gas tank with ability to fit another 19 gallons by head rack.
The frame sits on a sub frame 3 point sub frame. The reasoning is the QM chassis is very stiff. He wanted to minimize flex between the flat tray and bed.
Rear winch mount, his test winch is 13k
With the added weight he is going with 1000 springs.

For a utility body, I wouldn't have guessed color matching would be something I'd pay for, but after looking at the norweld rigs, the tray/cannopy without them look sloppy and unprofessional. textured coatings are sold as durable, but in reality, they are for shops that can't paint.

Norweld can be shipped here, Grenx is finalizing their tray with a debut at end of this month. I spoke with UTEMaster but no distribution here for tray.

Norweld gets a lot of attention due to the YouTube videos. I have seen there products installed at Mule Outfitters and the quality was top shelf. However, Mule no longer uses their product and they went to MITS instead. If there is another importer/shop for Norweld in the USA I would really like to know.
ARB has bought MITS so currently it is up in the air if and when we will see their tray system offered in the US.
Bowen said they would love to build a a tray/canopy for the Quartermaster but I don’t know if they had a chance to scan and build one yet.

Looks like DirtBox will be the first. Shame they can’t offer a paint option. Although you could always get it wrapped afterwards.

A company out of Hungary called XLW is developing a quartermaster cap as well as other parts like rock sliders for the quartermaster.

I had a quick chat and quote with David from XLW, the hungarian company behind the canopy mentioned by Rocky.
It is a very nice proposal below 4k$/€, with load bars rated around 90kg dynamic.
Canopy weight + roof bars add approx 92kg to the truck which is reasonable.
