My firmware was updated in February 2024, while at the dealers yesterday (July 2025) they said the firmware needed to be updated.

Anyone know what fixes it has? Australian diesel MY23.5.

This was mentioned to me about 2.5 months ago when booking in for a service. I was told it was about to be released and was a major update requiring the vehicle for some time. It wasn't available when I had my service and they didn't say what it was for or when. Haven't been contacted about it since but I'll get onto them shortly (slrv) as sticking door buttons really needs to be sorted.

I will get new door buttons and a new engine cover as well. The new engine cover has thicker insulation to prevent engine fires.

FYI: the dealer needs about 6 weeks notice to get these parts in from Belgium. The dealer can only order the parts after you book it in. At least that is what I was told.

My dealer conveniently had engine covers in whilst I had my car serviced.

My software version is SW 000 000 0771 00 1080 for a MY24 Diesel Grenadier delivered Jan 2025.

From what I've been told there may be 2 different software versions because of hardware changes in the later models, so the early MY23's prefix may be different to the later 24 models, this is one reason the back up camera cannot be changed to the larger MY24 size because the hardware (screen) is not compatible .
