great stuff Matt. Brings back memories for me. That’s a lovely part of the world. I love that whole region. I have especially fond memories of Gilgit and Skardu staying with locals. The scenery is epic and the people so friendly. The fresh fruit and apricot juice are a must. They seem to blasting rocks all the time. We also were held up for hours during blasting.
Another fascinating view into the world of your extraordinary journey! We thought we should put it up as soon as it was ready...
Glad you enjoyed the latest episode David. As for how we bring our kids up, we’re honestly just trying to do it in the most natural way possible. That’s all. Let them run wild and be free… no screens. And surprise surprise, they love it, require very little intervention and their imagination runs wild. It’s great to watch and witness.Another fascinating view into the world of your extraordinary journey!
It's priceless to see the way you let the kids explore their own world under your guiding eyes!

In my experience, kids LOVE the desert, and they always return!
This was 20 years ago!
In the second half of the video they are definitely towing a trailer, but it is does look slightly different topside.Back in Mongolia. Did they get the trailer up and running.

Thanks for sharing! Glad you enjoyed this latest video. We were sad to leave Pakistan, as you can see from the last three videos, it’s such an epic country! It’s a real shame we couldn’t use the trailer there, but we made the most of our time, and it was nice to do some homestays. We learned a lot about Pakistan, the complexities, the realities, the people, the history; it was fascinating.More outstanding content in the latest release.Incredible experiences.

Thanks Pat, glad you enjoyed it. I never in a million years did I ever think I’d be referred to an Ambassador for peace and love. There’s a lot worse things to be called.Great video @Matt P You and your lovely family are the ambassdors of peace and love - so powerful.
Very much enjoy your series (as well as others). So many beautiful places in the world, you and your family are experiencing them in the best way (IMHO). I'm jealous, but appreciate people like you who share your adventures.
As for the people, it seems to be much the same over and over. We hear and see about the bad the governments and their supporters do, but only those like you who travel at ground zero experience that people are genuinely good, despite those who give the rest a bad reputation. I'm convinced this holds true no matter where you go..
As much as it's lovely to have all these good experiences it is telling that there was an armory in the village, every house had automatic rifles and you were forced to accept armed guards. There are more normal decent people otherwise civilisation would not have advanced as it has. The reality is there are some very nasty and evil people also and where there is poverty then evil finds it easier to recruit. You’re right about the people, I’d say 99.9% (maybe higher) of people are very good, well intentioned, kind hearted people who just want what everyone else wants. (The basics in life without being greedy) Every single country you go to, you can find this. You just have to give people a chance, don’t judge, smile and be open to it. Even if you do none of these things, they’ll still find you, just maybe not in the same numbers.
The real world is quite different to what we’re told it’s like through the media. That should be a positive for us all. You still have to keep your wits about you as it’s not all sunshine and roses as we all know, but the vast majority are good and kind people. It’s very uplifting and every time you witness or experience it, it gives you that warm feeling we all know.
Even today, literally an hour ago, we were gifted a load of fresh fruit out of nowhere, for no real reason apart from the fact they have fruit trees and thought we might like some.It restores your faith in humanity if you have a wobble now and again and reminds you, at our core, who we really are.
