anyone else find that their wipers are completely lifting off the glass as it changes directions. Mine and more specifically my passenger side wiper lifts clear off the glass at the end of the stroke about 3/8" or so. It completely misses a section because of it. Very bizarre.

Many of us have found the stock blades to be "wanting" and duly replaced them with something better.

Fair enough, but my wipers are fully lifting off the windscreen. They literally stop touching the glass as they approach the return cycle and remain off the glass until they start returning and get back to the same point. The wipers are literally off the glass for 6" or so.

I would deduce either the blades are rogered or the arms are bent/maladjusted.
I'd take the blades off and see if they appear faulty.
At the end of the day you'll need/want to replace them anyway. Unless Ineos has improved their supplier since the early models.

It's certainly not the blades, they are good enough. They completely lift off the glass not making contact anymore. It's like the wiper arms run out of range. It's 100% a warranty issue. Just wondering if it's a common problem at all. I could easily bend the arms a touch, but that's not the point.

Have not had this issue but I bought some cheap arse 16"/400mm Michelin "Guardian Beam" wiper blades from Costco with low expectations and have been very happy with them, might be worth a try to see if it is just crusty blades. Also treated the windscreen with not cheap arse Chemical Guys Hydroslick, very slick indeed.
