PART 1 - VICTORIA RIVER REGION - NORTHERN TERRITORY AUSTRALIA
I thought I posted this as Part 1, but I cannot now find it (a very common problem with my brain injury). I have now worked out where 4WD 24/7 Offgrid went and which direction they traveled. They were traveling from Australia's East Coast to the West Coast. Now in the Northern Territory they were visiting the Victoria River Region. I struggled to work out exactly where, even though I knew the general location. It turns out they went from West to East in this Region, the source of my confusion.
I really liked the scenery and wanted to visit on my way to The Kimberley in 2026. So I managed to work it out, I will stop at a couple of extra places along this road, like Yarralin. A later video show them going down the Duncan Road into Western Australia, also added to my To Do List.
4WD 24/7 ROUTE
In summary, they started at the
Nuwalbinbin Walk, near Gregory on the Victoria Highway. They drove west, then turned left onto the "Buchanan Highway" and headed south towards Jasper Gorge - deep in gorge country. This is where you are seeing all the red walled gorges – my main point of interest.
Through Victoria River Gorge country they travel east towards Top Springs, Tanami East and reach the Sturt Highway. Then they turned north up to Daly River where they hit the Pub for a few cold ones.
Here is an interactive map of that part of the trip (I am traveling the opposite direction):

I complied an an Avomap of my broad route through this region, based on the Interactive Map above - I am traveling east to west.
