The sidewall would be exactly the same with a 17 if you are comparing a 315/70/17 vs a 315/70/18. The sidewall = 315*70% = 220.5mm in either case.

What I was saying is that the offset I am using is a +30 vs the +55 factory Jsharifi was talking about. Also I am using a 17 inch wheel with 315/70/17. That equals a total diameter of 872.8mm (34.36inch). If you had the same tire on an 18 wheel (ie a 315/70/18) that would be an 898.2mm (35.36 inch) overall diameter. I am saying that size would probably not fit.

I also don't know if there is such a thing as a tire in 315/70/18. or if there is an 18 inch wheel available with a +30mm offset.
Your right, sorry my bad, must have been a brain fart day

Can someone please tell me what the largest wheels can be mounted using the +30mm Eibach lift kit? Is it possible to use a 315x75/R17 tire?

315 70 fits..
only 70mm despite +30mm Lift? I was hoping the 75mm wouldn't be a problem. I want wider and bigger wheels than the original ones, I was thinking about 285/75/R17, but then I saw that some people here also have 315/75/R17 tires. Yes, I know that there is a difference between the Eibach US and EU versions of the Lift kit, but even the US version has a rear lift of only 30mm, right?

These are 315/70/17 or in inches 34.8/12.5/17…Eibach (US spec) 2.5 inch lift. Drives and handles great no rubbing. Spare mounted with offset bracket.
Can you confirm those are method wheels? If so which model and which offset? It is probably the best-looking setup I have seen yet.

Hey Greni80,
Yes definitely Method wheels although I don’t have the spec sheet anymore but I think 🤔 that was their only wheel to fit that configuration.

Just stuck some 285/70r17 on mine. Basically a 33. I would have gone larger but didn’t have much headroom with the garage door. I now need the slimmest roof rack ever made, like an 1/8 of an inch😀. Trying the KO3s.

I would like to begin this thread to help me, and hopefully others, as I decide to figure out the aftermarket wheel situation.

So this is what I ask:

1 - Please post a few photos of your wheel and tire setup
2 - Identify the make and size of the wheel including the offset (if possible)
3 - Identify the make a size of the tire
4 - Identify the country/region you are in
5 - Provide any links to mfgs, fitters, etc.

It would be great if this stayed as a photo-only thread so it's quick and easy for folks to scroll through as if it's a catalog.

We North Americans are a ways out but it's growing ever closer. In an ideal world, I would love to have new wheels and tires, side steps/sliders, and other items in the garage ready to go when I finally pick up my Gren.

Thank you.

As an aside - if you find a wheel/tire combo that you've seen elsewhere online please let that be know.
These are 315/70/17

Any photos of the tyres on?
Here you go. I think the 285/75 looks better but this is 100% better than stock. No lift here.

I LOVE that you kept the lettering. I was so torn about it, but I really dig it now. When I go bigger I think I am going Faulkens which are black wall only, but I'm down with the WWL.

the white lettering is as classic as the truck. I almost went AT4 but they were almost 12lbs heavier per tire. I am just hoping the KO3s are better in snow than the KO2. The reviews say they should be.

Hi crashburn, Those look incredible. I like the reverse deep dish which shows off the spokes. The design seems to fit the Grenadier just perfect.
What size rims and offset are they?
Damm you for posting these, I was perfectly happy with my 17" Grenadier Alloys.

Hi DaBull,

One of the reasons I got steelies so I could change them to something a bit different.

They are:
Size | Bolt Pattern | Offset Spacing
17x7.5 | 6x130 | 50/6.2"

@David Czarnecki has pretty good deals on Methods & Rhinos.

Cheers
