What did you do with your Grenadier today?

My puncture did not get fixed at the service, so I gave the wheel to Eden Tyres in Melton Mowbray to sort out. Turns out the tyre has been plugged once already and the technicial spotted a screw in the middle of the tread. This has been plugged and sealed for £25.00, and they put it back on the front nearside and put the spare back. TPMS did not squeak once, so all is well.

The technician was quite taken by the Grenadier; he had not been close to one before; thought the dash was like an old military aeroplane - not a modern one as that would be a glass-cockpit.

Pushed it to 99 mph on 295/70/17s. Buttery smooth.

Visiting fam in hilly SF.

Brake. Shift to neutral. Set parking brake. Release brakes. Shift to P.

Parking brake works well.

You will get a ticket if you park like that in sf. By law it there is a incline on the road, and it's tiny. You must angle the wheel in the downhill direction towards the curb.

Ask me how I know...
