Good question, it had it's first service 8 months ago, but now you mention it the spare wheel cover was slightly off horizontal. Another " post it" on the back door, check the spare tyre tread wear. While I'm at it I'll slacken off the retaining nuts.

Decided to paint match the headlight surrounds. Bought a set of surrounds from Ebay - they are also now available from Amazon - $139. They come in black. Sanded them down, sprayed them with primer, painted them with matching Donney Gray and then finalized them with coats of clear coat. The Donney Gray came with a can of clear coat, but it wasn't enough to match the clear coat of the vehicle. Second can did the trick.

Mine had its 36,000 mile service today at the cost of £769.07, the biggest chunk being labour, (2.5 hours) and next biggest, a £119.42 + 20% VAT fuel filter.

There is a list of small stuff still to do, replace the door buttons, replace a failed washer jet and replace a leaking front prop shaft seal. They will have to wait until Chandlers have the bits, the tech time and a courtesy car.

Had a KGM Torres with 13k on the clock to drive home and back. 1.5 petrol engine with all of the ADAS gizmos and adaptive cruise. Around £40k and not a particularly pleasent drive - I'm not a fan of lane keeping assist as it acts more like a drunken passenger grabbing the wheel. Adaptive cruise was OK, but either I want full control, or it can have full control and I'll have a snooze - the current part-way house is a scary nightmare; it kept telling me that adaptive steer was disengaged, usually when the white lines got a bit faint.

Big thanks to a Scottish Grenadier group member for printing a couple of handles for the front seat recliners, fitted today and very pleased with the look and more importantly SWMBO is able to adjust the seat easier.

This is happening now… They almost gave up as they could not get the Bottom shock bolt loose… at 202 ft lbs, not every gun is going to hit that. I insisted on breaker bars and good old fashion arm strength… After balking for 1/2 hour and reluctance, I even offered to break it free. Finally, a breaker bar on the bolt and nut, and bam! Who knew manual labor could actually outperform your $1400, 1200 ft lb break loose matco gun…..

That's a fair amount of torque. I've tightened the crankshaft bolt on my Porsche 928 to spec...218 ft/lb.
It is what you would term " beefy" and it felt a bit " wrong" .
But I guess a lot less than a truck , train or tank bolt.

I had the same kit installed on Wednesday. CR5177HP for standard height suspension.
I swapped a goofy eye for an inflation valve on each side.

With the airbags fitted it was riding high without a corresponding load so I have put 60kg (132lb) of ballast in the back for a couple of weeks to take out some of the height and bounce while the bags settle into shape. Airbags should only be inflated to restore ride height after the rear springs are loaded up. Minimum pressure is 5psi to retain shape and prevent pinching.

Did your installer leave a sticker with a QR code in your vehicle? It has the instructions for correct inflation and safe use.

Minimum unloaded pressure is 5psi.
Maximum pressure is 60psi for this HP kit (with the protective sleeves).
There's no fixed operating pressure. They are inflated sufficient to restore ride height.

Apologies if you know this already:

1. Measure the ride height from the lowest point of a rear wheel rim to a fixed body point like the edge of a wheel flare.
2. Add the load, connect the trailer, etc.
3. Inflate both airbags equally until the original ride height is restored. Do not exceed 60psi.
4. When the load is removed deflate the airbags to 5psi.

Do not use the airbags as a poor man's lift kit. Inflating the bags without a corresponding load on the suspension will restrict operation of the springs and make the vehicle unstable. Bad things will come from that.

Don't use a compressor to inflate the bags. Use a foot pump, hand pump or a low volume cordless inflator.
