As an example, with around 100kg in the rear cargo area and a towball weight of 250kg my airbags are set at 40psi
Also if you go offroad (significant spring articulation) make sure the bags are at the minimum 5-10psi.
Or else the bottom perch may dislocate and you will not be able to relocate it easily. Happened to me, and it also dislodged the airbag inflation nipple at the top. I had to take it to a 4wd shop.
So if you unload either vehicle and/or disconnect trailer/van - deflate the airbags!
Easy to forget , but don't!
