New Year Service Overdue Bug

Got mine this morning.
"Service Overdue 2107d"
New Hampshire, USA

ETA: Won't it take Ineos some time to write the Firmware patch??

UK. Checked this morning, 1933 overdue.
Vehicle booked in with dealer for later this month to have the door buttons replaced - second go as they were not able to do it when last booked in due to having a service bay down. Took the vehicle there as arranged one day, brought it home next day without them looking at it. Staffing issues were another contributing factor in the muddle. This on top of being assured the door buttons had been done when I collected the vehicle after purchasing it last September.

Ineos acknowledged it on Facebook already.

At least they acknowledge it but for the love of all that is holy IA please address all the other software issues including the cantankerous TPMS situation in one all inclusive upgrade. It’s the drips and drabs approach that is testing the patience of owners with repeated trips to the dealer which for many is hours of driving and inconvenience. We don’t mind and can wait for a better software patch if it actually addresses multiple issues for good. Let’s do this right!!!

Photo Update: 2458 days is that a new high?

Mine too! Noticed it as we drove off the overnight ferry in Amsterdam this morning. Mines 1700 ish days…

This is going to be a headache for IA hopefully it speeds up the release of the code reader. Might be cheaper than recalling all the cars…

You'll get an update in about two years. lol

Having such an embarrassing bug show up on an already infuriating feature has to be causing some consternation at IA you would think? Just issuing a quick fix to get us back to the non-resettable behavior before can’t be viewed as a success. They really need to put this feature in the hands of the owner and provided some method to allow us to set/reset the reminder. At this point I’d settle for some cheap IA provided, single function ODB dongle with a switch to reset the reminder. Especially if they are not in a position to do much more comprehensive software updates but I doubt it would be that easy to implement.

I made sure to leave my phone in airplane mode to prevent the Grenadier from syncing its clock. Time is correct, but the date shows 2032/01/01:

I wonder if that is the bug, or related to it. Grenadier was serviced last month and the number seems off by one year.

After I disabled airplane mode and CarPlay connected, the date/time synced. Looks like the service reminder is sticky and not calculated based on actual service date and current date.
