Largest Functional Tire Without Mods

Just a question, do you get High Pressure warnings that will not stop? Mine warns me every 5 minutes or so and drives me nuts, it is as if the programer never envisioned this vehicle being driven on an interstate in Texas in the summer.
I have my tyres set on 36 cold and they get up to 44 after long highway runs in summer.
I set the tyre pressure sensor at 40 PSI and no problems

I find if the tire temperature gets too hot, it will not reset the pressure. it only works on "cold" tires. Maybe under 100 deg F?
I’ve not had a problem resetting on the fly but an alternative, if you are running 36-38, is to pressurize to around 40/42 psi when cold set the level then deflate back to “normal”.

Yes, exactly what I did.
It works a treat.
Only time I struck a problem when was ambient temperature hit 44 degrees Celsius (111 Fahrenheit ) and I was 3 hour drive on the motorway.
I had to reset the tyre pressure on the fly.

I realized after having a puncture that if you take the spare off the back, mount it and put the tire with puncture on the back, the system will replace the sensor of the non rotating tire with the new rotating tire. You don't have to drive around with the tire light on until you go have the punctured spare repaired or replaced.
