How wet is your differential case?

I was just doing a routine check of my Grenadier this afternoon and noticed that both the front and rear had a trail of oil and a larger pattern on the case. I know a small amount is ok, but is this too much?

I'm no expert but I would assume any is too much when its supposed to be sealed inside. lol Mine is dry still knocking on wood.

That's a leaky pinion seal.

Other than when my rear diff had a pinion seal leak, both stay completely dry

I would never assume a small amount is ok. Especially on a modern vehicle.

Is it a problem that's going to leave you stranded, no but it should be addressed by your dealer under warranty asap

Had a leak in mine and eventually installed the ARB Diff breather kit.
